  1. Yep. Even if I have to sneak into the next concert, I'm going. [lol, anyone up for organizing a break-in with me?]
  2. To go with the U2 thread...
  3. Yeah. At least they didn't turn out like some one-hit wonder band.
  4. Hall and Oates?...... I used to like them, but then I was stuck in a car on the way to Arizona with only them playing. For about 2 hours. Nonstop.
  5. no! Oh, man....now I *have* to get tickets. I'm already kicking myself for missing out on ZooTV and Elevation...
  6. In that case....*signs the marching band to a record label*
  7. Hmm...has anyone heard anymore details about the new album?
  8. I liked the international forum, but I never knew whether to go to the Canada thread, or the US thread. [We moved to the US a long time ago from Alberta]
  9. ^ Has nice avatar :D
  10. The video for Electrical Storm's a bit odd though. The hell is up with that deer in it?
  11. "One" is great. Have you ever heard "Electric Co." or "Trash, Trampoline, and the Party Girl" ?
  12. Hmm...Me encanta Coldplay, U2, Starbucks, mi guitarra, y escuchar los discos. La musica de rock es muy bueno! [Hablo ingles, tambien]
  13. Thanks. And to get back on topic, what do you think of Electrical Storm?
  14. INXS aren't on there for the same reason that The Fixx, The Cure, The Smiths, A-Ha, Poison, Twisted Sister, Madonna, Hall and Oats, The Alan Parsons Project, Blondie, Soft Cell, ABC, Run-D.M.C., Tiffany, Suzanne Vega, Eurythmics, The Buggles, Culture Club, Tears for Fears, Peter Gabriel, Genesis, The Police, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Asia, Dexy's Midnight Runners, Oingo Boingo, Thompson Twins, Whitesnake, Robert Palmer, Wang Chung, and Fine Young Cannibals aren't on there: It took up too much time to create the selectors. If my connection speed wasn't so crappy, they would all be on there.
  15. oh, and thanks for the vote of confidence. I can almost play "One". *Almost*
  16. BTW, where'd you get your avatar?
  17. Because it hasn't been said yet.... "New York" -- U2 and...it's not a city, but..."California" -- Rufus Wainwright.
  18. Me? Great? HA! If great means knowing about 3 chords, and playing them over and over and over, then yes. I'm the next Eric Clapton, thank you.
  19. Amsterdam. Especially for the whole "I stood on the edge/ tied to a noose/ but you came along and you cut me loose" thing. Although, it is a tad morbid.
  20. Oh. I can't listen to the opening of "Streets" without getting chills. *sigh* If only I could borrow The Edge's talent for a day....
  21. Which one is your favorite? And no, "the hairstyles from A Flock of Seagulls" is NOT an option.
  22. It's odd. The Edge said that he was the "guitar anti-hero", but now he's becoming the guitar hero to a whole new generation. His 80's stuff rocked....so did the riff from "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me" Ah. Love that song.
  23. It's really odd. What's up with the hands? Is it supposed to be allagorical? [Wow...I *really* need a break from my lit homework.]
  24. I hope so. When I read an interview of theirs that said it was really "back to the basics guitar rock", I was a little afraid. I mean, can you imagine Edge pulling off some kind of White Stripes thing? Scary. Interesting, but scary.
  25. Joshua Tree, definetely. Although, Achtung Baby was really good... Man, I must have avatar ADD or something...now I have the urge to put another one up..hmm...
