  1. Yeah. Tokyo Police Club listed The Music as one of their inspirations, so it's more of a tribute rather than a rip-off. Great album though. Take a listen if you get the chance.
  2. They're really good. They remind me of a more mellow version of the Arctic Monkeys. Maybe they only have my favorite album this year because I've met them and seen them live, but it certainly is a magnificant album.
  3. I wish I could see them again. I saw them a few weeks ago. They put on a really good live show!
  4. Who would want to listen to Underoath anyways? I'm still sticking with Tokyo Police Club. Their new album drops on Tuesday. Be sure to pick it up. The album is already on the internet, and for you Canadians, MTV Canada has it on their "The Leak" portion of the website. Be sure to give them a listen.
  5. Smile Like You Mean It by The Killers, probably because it suits my mood really well.
  6. It's certainly odd that he/she says that English is not his/her first language, yet he/she can describe it with such descriptive words.
  7. Tokyo Police Club The Killers Radiohead Arcade Fire Wilco
  8. How official is this thread truly though?
  9. Hopefully you get the chance. I'd recommend them to anyone who's even remotely interested in similar genres of music because the show is so incredible. Easily one of the best shows I've ever seen (along with Tokyo Police Club and Wilco).
  10. There really good. The lead singer's voice gets on a lot of people's nerves (understandably so) but it's really original. The music itself is great too. One of the best things about them is that they don't drag songs on longer than three and a half minutes, because I find a lot of bands continue songs when they really need to end. Their debut album drops April 22nd, but it's already on the internet.
  11. For sure. I had been voting for My Iron Lung since the first round!
  12. Now that My Iron Lung is finally gone... Just.
  13. I saw them once in Toronto and once in Montreal. They put on an incredible live show.
  14. I'm a pretty big fan myself. I've seen them twice live and have been a pretty big fan ever since.
  15. Are there any other Tokyo Police Club fans willing to support Elephant Shell as the best album so far in 2008?
  16. Great band. Everyone on Coldplaying should be made aware of them.
  17. I can't wait to see the day.
  18. Tokyo Police Club's Elephant Shell is my favorite so far.
  19. My Iron Lung... again... again.
  20. The Shins. Keane or Travis?
  21. Radiohead Wilco Tokyo Police Club Coldplay Keane
