I've can relate to growing tired of Coldplay. I've been a huge Coldplay fan since I was 7, so in the past 9 years, while my musical tastes grew and changed, Coldplay was the only band that stayed the same. Needless to say, I've heard Yellow a few times too many. I haven't fully grown to love them again, seeing as Radiohead and Tokyo Police Club are all that I can listen to as of late, but I'm sure with the new album dropping within months, my love will come back to me.

I think you forget that Beckett is going against Halladay, easily one of the best pitchers in all of baseball.

Don't forget that Beckett is coming off an injury and isn't expected to go more than 5 innings. The Sox's pen is completely spent, and clearly isn't very strong judging by today.

I don't understand how anyone can cheer for the filthy Yankees unless you're a New Yorker. Even then, I could never support an owner willing to cash out more than what the league is worth for a team that still won't win championships. On a side note, go Jays go!

Are there no Coldplay fans here who bought Parachutes within a week of it's release? I remember buying it at the age of 8 because Yellow was so brilliant. It was truly the first album I fell in love with. I have doubts as to if any album could ever knock it off.

I've finally realized the significance of the "Famous Old Painters" section on the "new" website (and I'm aware that someone else must have figured this out already). Seeing as the "Viva La Vida" portion is inspired by a painting (and clearly the band has been inspired by paintings as of late), there must be a dedication section to Famous Old Painters. I'm assuming the inlay of the album will consist of famous paintings as well.
