  1. Lovers In Japan is one of my favorite tracks on the album, as opposed to crowd favorites such as 42 and Yes. Just because you dislike a song doesn't make it bad.
  2. Napoleon replied to 42rock89's topic in 42
    I don't like it.
  3. Good shit. Both great bands. TPC puts on a great live show.
  4. Which title track do you prefer? Personally I prefer Death And All His Friends.
  5. Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends? What will it be? I say Death And All His Friends.
  6. The song is on Jon Hopkin's MySpace page: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=26521034
  7. A Message vs. Life In Technicolor
  8. Sorry. Regardless, that's how I got my copy. Pure luck! I'm not complaining either way!
  9. Yeah, it was absolutely perfect timing. When I remembered he was in England and the album came out, I called him up frantically and he told me he'd get me a copy. I was so excited. I'm getting it in the next hour. :)
  10. Like I said, don't worry. I will. If any of you are wondering how this is possible, my dad went to England and returned earlier this afternoon.
  11. I'll have it up tonight. Don't worry. Just need to find a camera...
  12. I'm from Canada and I have my copy. :)
  13. Parachutes: Yellow/Don't Panic A Rush Of Blood To The Head: Clocks/The Scientist X&Y: Fix You/A Message Death And All His Friends: Life In Technicolor/Death And All His Friends Yellow/Clocks Fix You/Life In Technicolor Yellow/Life In Technicolor Yellow (Magical song, doesn't hurt that it's mine and the love of my life's song)
  14. 1) Parachutes (11/10) 2) A Rush Of Blood To The Head (9/10) 3) Death And All His Friends [My chosen title.] (8/10) 4) X&Y (7.5/10)
  15. I've found that DAAHF (I chose to refer to the superiour, less fruity album title) is much more mainstream than any of the previous three. The problem with DAAHF is that many of the songs clearly show Coldplay's loss of hunger for making the best music. Parachutes and A Rush Of Blood were both magical albums and I've found that X&Y (somewhat) and DAAHF (for the most part) are just dull. Sounds like they've sold out to me.

  18. This song is without a doubt the only song that soars. Anyone else agree?
  19. I don't think we'll hear many albums as good as Parachutes very often.
  20. Napoleon replied to Pseudonym's topic in The Lounge
    I chose Test A.
  21. I think Lost? is the closest they've come since Yellow.
  22. I wasn't trying to compare it musically, although it does give off a similar vibe. I was trying to compare the draw factor is has after first listen.
  23. Does 'Lost?' remind anyone else of Yellow? After a few listens I think it's the track I fell in love with the most after the first listen since Yellow (which is be my all-time favorite Coldplay song).
  24. They're solid. I'm talking about the Canadian Indie band. Personally, my favorite Stars track is "Your Ex-Lover Is Dead". This band is for you if you've ever said "I love you" and haven't heard it back, if you've ever come across your ex and wondered what could have been or if you've ever made love one last time even though both of you knew it was over.
