  1. Live Nation? Ah, it all makes perfect sense then.:laugh3:
  2. Other than the fact that some people stubbornly insist the band will definately come back to North America?
  3. As I've said before, those kind of quotations don't mean something will happen, or even that it's likely to happen, only that it happened to be under consideration at the time the statement was made.

Hey, it's better than releasing a "radio edit" or some other such nonsense. Proper B-sides are pretty much dying out in the digital age.
  5. Really? That's rough.:\ When I ordered a shirt from the website years ago it didn't take that long. In fact, I think it actually shipped from somewhere in the US. Clearly things have changed.:(
  6. No, I've never been to the LOLdplay thread, and TBH I'm not really sure what gets posted there. Should I post it there?
  7. In the past, Debs has issued statements to the effect of them not being able to provide Autographs through the mail, so that routes probably out. The only thing I can tell you is that if you happen to be somewhere the band is, they usually sign for most everbody. Also, some of the prints and things from the end of decade charity sale have a tendency to pop back up on Ebay from time to time, and if you find one of those you have provinence that's provable. It's a long shot, but I've seen them on there a few times.
  8. People actually injured George Harrison by pelting him with candy back when the Beatles first toured America, so at least you've got a precendent.
  9. From Jonny's Wikipedia page: "Jonny Buckland's guitar playing style has inspired many other bands to adopt a similar technique, such as The Fray's Joe King, The Killers, Pat Monahan from Train (band) on some songs, and The Edge himself, who stated in an interview at Glastonbury: "[Jonny Buckland] is an inspiration to guitar players everywhere, and I am proud to know that I was one of his main influences. (laughs) It makes me feel like a real rock star." I'm pretty sure the quote from The Edge is bogus (it sounds fake to me, and I don't think Edge would say that), but it's funny anyway:laugh3:
  10. That's what I mean. Almost every review this tour has singled out Will for some type of praise. He's not the most underappriciated member by any means, If anything he's starting to eclipse Jonny as the most well known member behind Chris. Jonny and Guy never get this particular sort of press, but Will is getting it with increasing frequency.
  11. The new Million Dollar Coldplaying question is why the hell those two smilies (especially the second one) exist!:\
  12. :saw::deadhusky:
  13. I think that one looks kind of creepy TBH. It's Jonny's equivilent of Will's serial killer stare.
  14. Probably so.
  15. The funny thing is he played bass alright when he played live in South America (granted, only for one song, and it was a simple part.) But still, in my book, being able to keep time on a root note part at least qualifies you as a decent bass player. Lord knows there's a fair number people who have managed to gain fame and fortune with no more than that.
  16. I think people are just straining for any explination that seems the least bit plausable(sp?).
  17. I'm not sure. I do know there has been some speculation that the reason Scotland was left of the stadium tour, was do to relatively poor attendence at the Hampden Park gig a few years back, but as far as I know those are just unfounded rumors.
  18. That's a really good one. He should keep his hair grown out while he's still got it.
  19. I live to get indignant at people.;)
  20. Absolutely kidding, hence the :laugh3:
  21. fakfak replied to Pris's topic in Coldplay
Maybe I'm just jaded by the current crop of pop divas that seem to almost always sound thin and vocally strained live.:\
  22. Is it lonely up there on your Pedestal?:laugh3:
  23. fakfak replied to Pris's topic in Coldplay
Well, I never said she was good overall, only that I personally find her to be something of a high card in a very low hand. When she's in fighting shape (which she isn't always), she is capable of outperforming a lot of her peers (which admittedly isn't really saying much.):\
  24. I find this one very funny for some reason. Probably the towel coupled with the fact it looks like he has no teeth here.
