  1. I was going to do something similar, but I'm lazy.:embarrassed:
  2. and the big, puffy chef's hat!:laugh3:
  3. There's no way to tell that just from seat numbers. It's entirely dependent on the layout of the venue you attend. You'd have to find someone familiar with your specific venue. Alternatively, you might be able to find a seating chart that could at least give you some sort of basic idea.:)
  4. The next leg most likely, that's the usual pattern.;)
  5. I'm not saying I'd like that, only that I think there's no reason to expect any new material based soley on a one time pattern of material released 3-4 years ago. The band have 4 previous albums, and they only released an E.P. from 1 of those sets of sessions (and only about a third of that was actually new material). The best I think you can realistically hope for is a handful of b-sides, live cuts and remixes and since they're pretty much done with singles for MX at this point, even those are highly doubtful IMHO.
  6. Chris pays tons of attention to Will. In fact, I'd say of all the band members except Chris, it tends to be Will who gets the most attention and is most highly regarded as a musician, especially recently. Look how many of the current tour reviews make a major point of singling out Will's contribution to their shows. (as they should, he plays six instruments on their current shows.)
  7. Don't hold your breath on that one. My prediction is no substantial new material until the next LP.
  8. I watched it back and it WAS!:laugh3: Good on Chris for taking the bullet for Will.:embarrassed:
  9. LP6

I still say it's a mistake to take every idle comment they make as something written in stone. Anything the band members say about a new album, represents only what they're thinking at that one particular moment, and probably shouldn't be considered as anything more than that.:)
  10. Remixes or live recordings. It's mostly to do with the decline in physical formats IMHO. When you're not selling physical singles, there's less of a market for b-sides, so the commercial part of the industry doesn't see them as valuable.
  11. -sigh- There is no set pattern for releasing songs. The band will release new material when/if they feel like it, and there's nothing anyone can do about it.
  12. I've been freelancing since "some unpleasantness" at my old job last February. I've pretty much been on the noon-4 am schedule since:laugh3:
  13. He's great live, I just wish they'd turn him up a little in the mix on their recordings.
  14. I guess it's just my perception. When I'm playing bass, I find myself sort of getting so deep in the rhythm I sort of go to super mellow zone out land. Of course, all I ever really play is simple eighth note lines.
  15. She also practically lives on here (as do the both of us!):embarrassed:
  16. I think it's the nature of the instrument. Playing rythmic chords all the time lends itself to a mellow vibe.;)
  17. Bass players do have a tendency to look bemused.
  18. He's the thinnest I've ever seen him here, but it's not like he was ever particularly slender before, so I don't think he's unhealthy level thin now or anything like that.
  19. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the shape and scope of the walkway has been changed several times to accomodate the layouts of various venues. Standin areas in stadiums are always different anyway, depending on such things as the slope of the pitch and the number/location of obstructions what's a good spot in one venue, will not be good in another.
  20. He seems a lot more comfortable in his own skin for sure. He's more upbeat, and doesn't seem to have his depressed moments with as much frequency. He's even opening up a bit about the missus and kids, and that's the thing that used to send him around the bend the most.:)
  21. It looks like paint to me, but it could be a tat I guess.:\
  22. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pg_2n9iVAZk]James Levy And The Blood Red Rose - Sneak Into My Room - YouTube[/ame] This is their single. It's seriously about as nice a piece of music as I've ever heard.:)
