I think it's the opposite, mexican football is corrupted, and it's quite often that rich teams ruin good players. But Mexico is quite shitty in football taking into account that whether there was been a fight for independance from Spain 200 years ago and an important revolution 100 years ago, Mexico will never get rid of football passion. I think few countries are more passionate about it, and taking into account the money and attention it receives in a country of 100 million habitants Mexican football is sheer shit. Anyway, you were supposed to beat Mexico, you're ranked 14 while Mexico was ranked 16, then you beat countries that you have to recognize aren't good at football wheter you trust FIFA rankings or not. You have to accept in addition that while we all know Uruguay got fairly to the semis because they did what was necessary, you are not among the 4 best countries. OF course it's not Uruguay's fault you hadn't faced big teams, but you know Brazil, Portugal and Argentina, for example, are better than you.

Is Mexico a big team? And Uruguay did not play well, it was just that Mexico played horrible plus some stupid coach movements. But the point is, is Mexico a powerful team? You just lack objectivity. To support Germany or to suppot Spain. That is the question.
