  2. FANGIRL
  3. Briggins you're a bad wicked person. Now Keep Calm and listen to wa wa waterfall, waka waka.
  4. I recorded a MTVHD broadcast of Radiohead:FTB, I can upload it if I figure it how to.
  5. Finally this thread is meaningul. I can breathe peacefully now.
  6. I am the greatest dude of all time.
  7. I think their most brilliant performances ever are from the Kid A/Amnesiac era. The Basement and Glastonbury 97 are in another league as well. I love Separator as well as give up the ghost, except that just like you I don't fell excited at all about Give up the ghost. Separator will be interesting I'm sure (yoda talking ftw)
  8. Let's take apart that in my opinion and subjectivity things. We know this is bound to subjectivity and that everyone's opinion counts, but there are lots of things that can be done objectively. (Reilly can explain this better lolz). Saying Elbow is the best band in the world, there's a big difference between say my favourite and the best band in the world. I don't like Bob Dylan nor the Beatles, but I recognize they are one of the greatest artists of all time. You may not understand Beethoven but if you deny his paramore importance and legacy you are a big idiot. It's obvious that music appeals to personal tastes, but when you say which is the best band you are referring to the band of most excellence. How can we define excellence? Commercial succes? That's commercial excellence, but it's not linked to musical excellence. Excellent bands make music that pleases the critics and that creates a solid fanbase, in addition to resist the passage of time and leave a legacy. Does Elbow has a really solid fanbase? Solid not big. Do they have general critical acclaim? The Arcade Fire has these characteristics, but it's too early to tell if their reputation and influence will go on through time. Radiohead has a big and solid fanbase, Kid A, OK Computer and In Rainbows have higher critical reputation than all of the current best band contenders. King of Limbs is ranked better than any coldplay album except for AROBTTH. In fact Coldplay's best album (ROBTTH) met the same score on metacritic than Radiohead's second or third to last weakest (KoL). Radiohead influenced lots of artists, beggining with coldplay themselves. If that's not being the most consistent mainstream band then I don't know what is it. If you bring the popularity argument Bieber beats them all.
  9. Wanna bet? In fact their electronic-oriented tracks are usually the ones that sound the best live.
  10. I assure you'll fell in love with the new album when you listen to it live.
  11. Uhm I don't think so... he's had some good moments in individual tracks, like Only Superstition and the live solo of AROBTTH and Spies and.... well that's it. High Speed, Twisted Logic and 42 are decent as well.
  12. Server Fehler.... warum warum is this going to be recorded elsewhere? I see it's the plus channel streaming, the same channel that recorded some brilliant radiohead performances and that can be seen in youtube
  13. I'm suprised of how well they performed God Put a Smile Upon Your Face. Us against the world is sweet, will satisfy all those parachute lovers. BTW Buckland is finally doing a decent job. And now they're doing Politik. OK Coldplay redeemed themselves; every teardrop is a meh song anyway. Man I'm acting like such a fangirl :disappointed: Next I'll be drooling to Chris haircut

Ehm, spiders eat insects, removing them is gonna be very hard. I understand your fear of these creepy crawlers but the only thing you can do is grab a shoe and kill it. Most likely it won't harm you at all, if you want to feel safer just don't put your bed laying just next to the wall so there's no way the spider climbs it.

Danish girls. Are there venomous spiders in Denmark? I don't think you have anything to worry about, the spider won't go after you and bite you, in fact it may even help you in killing other insects.
  16. Dunno, if there's a top 10 thread move it there, but as far as I'm concerned, the thread was meant to discuss which bands should be picked for making the top 10, not the actual top 10. But you are the mod, you are the law, you decide.
  17. I think that I'd rather be a comma than a full stop
  18. No one but you will understand it rudy (hope so) :uhoh:
  19. Guys It's a joke Bah you're obviously not clever enough for my jokes :disappointed:
  20. This is not a Failure :snobby: And I'm grateful for your will to help me but it's not necessary Luby
  21. You obviously don't know coldplay well. High and Dry is a very coldplay-ish song, or propely put, Coldplay made lots of High-and-Dry-ish songs. Geez! You lack sense of humour
  22. What's "fail" in this one?
  23. You inorited mah thread little suckers :disappointed: But most importantly, you missed my joke :bigcry:
