i don't think the media lie, they just report things in the light that they see it as. i agree with sweety that many people in media are smart. you just have to watch out and try to get as much info as possible before you make any judgements about something because there might be more than one view on a subject :dozey:

the media tends to twist everything they don't always just comment on the facts - they like to incorporate their own opinions into what they say, and often because people aren't exposed to anything else, believe that what they say are the facts

Hmmm... we get Labor Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving (2 days), Christmas Day, Memorial Day, and I think that's about it. Whoopee! A whole six days off!! Back in the high school days we would get Pulaski Day and President's day and what else... maybe I should move to somewhere in Europe :lol:
