It's a close one between books and movies. I used to read more when I was younger, but as I got older I had to read so much for school, so I stopped reading for fun. I chose movies even though a lot of the ones made nowadays are crap, but I guess I watch more movies than I read books. I need some suggestions on what good books are out there to read.. gotta get back into it. :/

*ahem* ... guess who got anothony hopkins attention?? :) no, actually he was very nice, because i think he had just finished taping his scene from the movie, and again, we were just walking and kind of almost bumped into him. i think he probably noticed that i was looking at him (i was also trying to get my sis' attention) - it was pretty dark outside, and i remember that when i saw him, at first i didn't know who it was, but i knew i recognized the face and then later it hit me, oh it's anthony hopkins!! but he was really nice and said hi as he passed by both of us and good night as well! me and my sis had heard people saying that he was a genuinely nice guy and was signing autographs and taking photographs willingly. i was kind of just kidding about the gwynie looking gwynie-like .. it's just that you see pictures all the time, and for some reason, i just don't think they'll look the same, but she looked exactly as in all her pics. she also looked very relaxed and confident when she was walking with chris. and my take on the whole 'quickly' thing about chris is that he probably didn't want too much of a commotion about him and wanted to be polite to gwyneth and not get sucked up by a huge crowd (and not pay attention to her) - but my sis did say that she noticed that gwyneth was smiling/laughing? when chris caught up with her, so it was all good.. i'm curious to know what the movie is going to be like!!:stunned: :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D Oh MY GOOOOOOOSHHHHHHHH!!!! I was totally about to faint!!! Hahaha!! It was funny 'cause my sis was like - "should I do it?? should I do it??"(to get an autograph) I'm so glad she did!!! My first instinct was to get my camera out to take a picture, but then he looked in a hurry and then I remembered the "throwing of the rock" incident, so I didn't ask! :) The whole experience was SURREAL!! Surreal I tell ya!! Gwyneth looks very "Gwynie" in person. :D If ya know what I mean. Not really into the movie, but the song in the trailer helped it out. Made it seem like the movie would be more interesting."ye olden days, stopped them getting scurvy thanks to the vitamin C." - you got that right!! in ye olden days!! i'm not on ships alot these days, but i don't think scurvy is as prevalent as in ye olden days.. :lol: see in UK pants = underwear, Trousers = trousers lol talking about underwear... I know that here, guys wear shorts as bathing suits.. in europe do they wear more speedos? :) The whole driving on the left thing in the UK would just mess me up big time! I would totally get into an accident! Either that, or I would be driving like a total granny. :D Surfing sounds really fun. Learning something new is always fun! The most I have ever done is 'boogie boarding'. Yes, I am not an expert. I wish it was warm here in Chicago for more than just three months so that I could participate in more outdoor activities. It would be nice to look forward to do some kind of physical activity after work, other than just going to Bally's. :(Happy Birthday!!!! I remember going down to Venezuela and sticking out like a sore thumb!! Here, a lot of people wear shorts and gym shoes and/or birkenstock-like sandals, and to south americans that would be extremely strange (they only wear pants down there and if they wore anything short, it would be a skirt). They also tend do dress nicer/fancier down there. We are very casual here. And I think in other countries, they may be more on top of the whole fashion thing than here in the states (we like to wear our jeans and t-shirts). Not to say that we're not fashionable, but the trends appear faster in other countries.i like the ikea ones where they make you feel bad for an inanimate object - there was one with a lamp that this girl had to throw away and she put it outside in the rain and replaced it with an ikea one, they put some sad music on and you feel really bad for the old one, then this guy comes along and says " are you crazy " 'cause why should someone feel bad about something like that... don't know if anyone has seen that one..
