  1. it's ok Richard.. (pat's him on the back) you must succumb to the fact that maybe one day you could write a bestselling book and make millions of dollars on your tv show... all because of your deep insights.. :D i think anybody who has had anybody ever bother them about not having a girlfriend/boyfriend (wife/husband) should just ignore them. there are so many divorces nowadays, i don't know why everybody is so rushed!!

Ok, my post will definitely not be as analytical as yours.. i read the book about two years ago, but i haven't seen the movie. i had always heard that grisham books are really good. i started reading this one and of what i can remember, it was decent, but towards the end i thought they kept on repeating some of the same concepts and it got reaaally boring. i was like when is this thing going to end? usually i'm not like that with books. i wondered, though, how the movie would end up.. maybe they would make it better? i'm still not sure whether or not i want to see it, the previews did not seem very interesting hopefully someone else will give their opinions about the movie ... we'll see..

^ wow, a six, that to me seems pretty low on your scale. it's just one more above five. five is too close to being a crappy movie.
  7. are you like some sort of psychologist or something? Dr. Phil ? (actually, you're not mean enough to be Dr. Phil)
  8. You know, I really don't know what this song is about, but it was interesting because I was recently reading this thing on mtv.com.. Like most songs on A Rush of Blood to the Head, "Clocks" is about love gone awry. But the self-pitying is far from cliché, and right before the chorus, vocalist Chris Martin sings the tune's most pointed line, "Come out upon my seas, curse missed opportunities/ Am I a part of the cure, or am I part of the disease." "I reckon everybody in the world questions whether they're useful to the world or not," said Martin. "Some people think they're doing marvelous things. Hitler thought he was doing great things for the world, and yet we'd all say, 'No, no, no, he was doing terrible things.' Some people would say that Coldplay is a great thing for music and the world. Other people would regard us as the devil incarnate, so of course it's always a conflict."

  14. Deaf forever baby!!! You can always use sign language. And wasn't Beethoven (sp?) deaf or something, but he could still compose music. Just make it all up in your head. If you were blind, how would you ever enjoy nature? You'd never be able to see your loved ones again... Ugh!!! How would you use the internet??? I couldn't deal with that! :o
  15. yay! your turn!
