Well I like all the songs on MX, but I must agree that ETIAW seems like it is...missing something. I've thought this from the first time I heard it and Princess of china, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy hearing them. Great thread btw.

Hello and welcome! The instruments are: organ, synth/strings, piano, electric guitar with effects, acoustic guitar, bass, drums. It goes: intro (organ only), verse 1, chorus, instrumental (with piano), verse 2 (with acoustic), chorus, 2nd instrumental (guitar solo), bridge (whole band), outro (after electric guitar finishes) I dunno about the rest of it.

Thanks for the feedback. The tuning was for a song I'm trying to write a cover for. It's a complicated fingerstyle but the standard tuning wasn't working. Now I'll have to figure something else out because the new tuning didn't work either :lol: oh the joys of songwriting :lol::lol:

This explains about notation symbols: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_musical_symbols and memorise the notes (A, B, C etc) on the staff lines - that'll make it easy to read :)
