Honestly, I end up loving everything they do, even if I don't like it first listen. However, I do believe some albums are better then others. Here's how I look at it, I have no control over what direction they go in, what songs the write and record, or what they name their songs or albums. So I just enjoy them as much as possible. Thinking this way doesn't cause any disappoint really. My favorite album is probably Viva, but that is most likely because of nostalgic reasons. I got into Coldplay about a year before they released Viva. So that was my first album release I got enjoy, and nothing will ever compare to that. That being said, I love every album. But going back to your question, I personally think their main peak is over. But I feel that there is another on the way. Whether it's LP7 or LP8, we will have to wait and see. [emoji6]

News about that video has to be coming soon. No way they shoot a video in mid September for use in November or December. I mean, I suppose they could but I think it's unlikely. I think we will see something by October 30 the latest. Not trying to hype people up, that's just me speculating. Could be the 16th, the 23rd, or the 30th. I have honestly gotten so tired of waiting for something every single week since the end of July, its become extremely exhausting. I have no expectations and am just going to live life and see what happens. That being said I still think that something will come in 3 weeks or so, but I will not be disappointed if doesn't. Put it this way, if the rumors happen to be true about a tour starting in November, then we will see a surprise release this month. But only time will tell.

Oh yeah, that God awful train wreck. You know, I was actually going to buy that until I heard the official version. Now I won't be. I will instead be downloading the live version, where Chris sings the entire song, even though the quality isn't the best. Great job Avicii, just lost a sale. And I'm sure others will do the same as well. It really aggravates me that he has Chris Martin come in and help him and do vocals, and then he cans more than half of them. It wouldn't hurt to release an alternate version, that way he still makes money. Same goes for Heaven. Just release the demo version, so people can buy it. I was listening to that version last night and Chris' vocals fit it so well. Simon Aldred isn't bad, but Chris is so much better. Sorry to go a little off topic, but I have been waiting for Avicii's album since I heard Chris was in a track last September. Now it's here, and I am really disappointed. I could really use that new single right now Coldplay.

I completely agree with you. I didn't want to be rude earlier, but I have been thinking about it and I am pretty ticked off as well. Why would you say a couple of days when you meant a couple of weeks? Days and weeks are two entirely different things. Though ov3la is a frequent poster, I believe the source is just going off rumors as well. We have all concluded an October release is most likely, but we just can't trust anymore unknown sources. I wouldn't be as pissed if ov3la corrected us a few days ago, when we all clearly said that we thought that Friday was the day. Why not correct that?!

We should just lock this thread until we get something official. We could all use a break from this craziness lol.

Yeah I wasn't too Keane on it either. The uplifting sound doesn't really fit the winter scene. I'd prefer a summer release for something like that, but honestly I do not want to wait that long. I'll take it whenever lol.

Yeah I pretty much said the same thing. Don't want to doubt anybody, but we really can't trust what we hear. I think we are all just so eager for something, that we jump at literally anything. It's been such a roller coaster the past few months. Specifically August and September. Hopefully it all comes to an end this month. I am going to try and not take anyone's word seriously. Unless it comes from the band themselves, I won't believe it.

Yeah sorry, but next "couple of days" kind of implies less than a week. Anyway, we kind of already figured something was coming in October due to the video shoot. Mine as well say the end of the month, October 30, so we have the entire month as a buffer lol. We have to stop hyping ourselves up though. Its literally killing us, and its not Coldplay's fault by any means. They haven't said a danm word. We are doing it to ourselves. I'm just gonna listen to Amazing Day til an official announcement is made. I trust you ov3la, I just got too excited and took your "days" line too serious lol.
