It's like a combination of MX, Viva, and GS! The MX type outfits with the paint and the patches and the love button. This is awesome!

I think your right. Not sure if they will follow the same pattern as the last 3 records, where the first single is big, but the second one is even bigger. For Viva, Violet Hill was the first single, followed by Viva La Vida. For MX, it was ETIAW followed by Paradise. For Ghost Stories, it was Magic followed by ASFOS. So if the pattern continues, the first single will be big, but the second one will be bigger. And I know everyone is different, and some would prefer the first single to the second, but I'm talking about chart wise, as well as commercial. Viva was huge, as was Paradise, and ASFOS. Just wanted to point that out. Although it could just be coincidence.

Yeah it's just us having conversations to kill our boredom while we wait with anticipation for SOMETHING to happen. Please Coldplay. Something. Anything. Please.

Yeah but that was a specific Coldplay event. People knew what they were getting and were expecting new material. This is a multi-artist festival where Coldplay only have 20 minutes or so and a lot of people probably are not there for Coldplay. I know they have to debut songs a some point, but where it is a festival like this, I would think they want the song out there beforehand. This kind of festival is a new material kind of deal.

That's exactly my thought. Makes more sense to have the crowd know the song. Especially this kind of crowd.

At this point, I think they will release the single after the festival. Although there still is next Tuesday. I am not sure what the logical approach here would be. Would it be better to just debut a new song to thousands of people (a lot probably non-Coldplay fans) without anyone hearing it? Or would it be better to release the song before the festival so people have a chance to hear it? Last year, almost everyone probably knew ASFOS, or heard it at some point. Wouldn't it be wise to have people at this kind of festival know the song beforehand? What do you guys think?

Just re looked at the tweet though, and it has a #WhoIsIt. A lot of people think it's an announcement for Selena Gomez to perform. I think that might be what it is as I think she is releasing a new album soon. I thought she had already been announced. Sorry everybody lol.
