Yeah the artwork part of it has nothing to do with Coldplay. I think this is definitely a stand alone single for the movie, and has nothing to do will LP6. Although who knows, maybe it will the "style" they are headed in next. I personally think it will be a "classic" Coldplay song. I hope it is upbeat too.

Well this sucks, but at least it's not too far away. They could have postponed it til the movie comes out in November. That would have been terrible. Trying to stay positive, although I am a bit disappointed. It was so close!!:bigcry:

Same here. I started getting into them around 2006-2007, so the Viva era was my first era that I experienced and it was awesome. Also, not only was the Viva era when I first saw Coldplay live, but it was my first concert in general. So that will always be a great memory with that era.

Exactly right. I personally think that this is a Christmas Lights like release. A sort of between albums kind of thing. Although who knows, it could be the style of LP6 :shrug:

Yeah I checked out the PRS one, but didn't have an account. I have no doubt that they are working on new songs, but it is definitely too early for them to register them. I think by Spring 2014 (the very latest) we will know a lot more, if not have the album!

I figured I would bring this link back from the LP5 thread. When they have new songs, we should see them on here. There is nothing new as of right now and there probably won't be for a little while. Completely agree with you here. They really showed their creative side in the MX era. I take a lot of things into account to judge an album. For me it is not just the music, it is the big picture. They made up their own characters, a story, their clothing, the song symbols, and their own art! There is just so much about the MX era that was great. The live shows were the best I think. They really enjoyed playing, you could definitely see that. They sounded great, the light show was extraordinary, and the Xylobands were such a great addition to the tour. Maybe the album was not their best, but I think overall the MX era was the best. The songs fit in with the big picture. I didn't really become a Coldplay fan until just before Viva La Vida was released, so MX is the only era I have experienced from anticipation to the very end. It is hard for me to choose a favorite album, it all depends on my mood. Some days, I only listen to old stuff, and others I listen to MX the most. Either way, I like the fact that they are progressing and are growing as artists. They enjoy and love what they do, and that is really all that matters.

I got mine today from a local comic shop. I walked in and a guy asked if he could help me find anything. I said, "Yes I am looking for a new comic that came out today, its called Mylo Xyloto." The guy looked at me like I had 5 heads :laugh3: But someone else knew exactly what I was talking about. It's a good comic. Can't wait to read Issue #2! I also noticed something interesting, but I don't want to ruin it for anyone who has not read it yet so read this if you have already read it. It is not a huge spoiler, it is just something small that I noticed:

From the 2 that I bought, the quality is awesome. I got exactly what you see. Its a tad expensive for a t-shirt, but if you have the money for it, it's a great purchase.
