Actually, I like the more intimate and mysteriously atmosphere of the new concert A LOT. It's very ambient at times, especially with the lazer harps and the instruments. But to each their own! LOL thanks, I mean I find myself pretty embarrassing during concerts but I can't bloody help it :lol: At least I can reduce myself to just yelling names instead of OTHER EMBARRASSING THINGS :laugh3: Yah, just skip the song if you don't like it. It will definately be a radio hit, it's fast, it's loud, and the lyrics are easy. I'm quite okay with that because I just can't listen to Yellow anymore o__o

I listen to classic, electronica, some weird ass shit that's somewhere located between Glitch step and classic, to underground bands as well as stuff from DJ's like David Guetta/Tiësto, movie soundtracks, hell even game soundtracks, and sometimes even German songs but they're often rather bad. I listen to Coldplay, Radiohead, Massive Attack, Sigur Ros, Sufjan Stevensm, The Killers, The XX, Linkin Park etc. Why would you feel embarassed about Coldplay? Because they're obviously stating they love Radiohead? Because they're fans themselves but make nice music as well? LOL The only music I'd feel embarrassed about would be listening to Justin Bieber, but I don't listen to him so I guess I'm guilty pleasure-free in terms of music. Happy listening everybody and stop giving a fuck about people who think they can judge you for what you're listening. They didn't fucking compose the songs you're listening to themselves so WHO ARE THEY TO JUDGE. /rage rant over

Well unfortunately he didn't go as crazy as usual. I suspect it has something to do with the new calmer atmosphere of the album. Jonny wasn't as energetic during that song as on the last tour were he was bending down/stomping his foot/shaking his body :( He was still rocking but not THAT much.

If you mean Jonny rocking the hell out of his guitar, then yes it had. It almost had the same energy like the versions from the last tour, only crammed together on a small stage minus Chris running around like a rabbit on speed.

After last night's concert, the whole stage set-up was pure mind-candy for my imagination, it got all of my creative juices flowing! :bomb: I HAVE to start drawing something Coldplay related this night omg O___O

And so do I when you comment on my stuff! :cheesy: Haha, background-avoiding-person detected... welcome to the club! :laugh3: No but seriously, sometimes backgrounds distract the viewer from the main parts of the whole artwork, so it's good to focus on the important things!

I'd rather challenge myself to achieve that state. Try to accomplish all those things that make you feel great, so that you actually worked to get that feeling of amazingness (with the help of a superpower maybe?).

WOW that is beautiful! I love how you caught the lighting of the scene and how you transferred it onto the pigeon, so that it all seems like one actual scene. And I'm always a fan of your minimalistic backgrounds :D Even the typo works, WELL DONE! :thumbsup::D

You should have seen Chris abs when he was wiping his face with his shirt. He was RIPPED. Everytime he did it (about 5 times that perv) the whole crowd went WILD (even some of the males, I HEARD YOU TOO!) :lol::laugh3:

HAHA that is actually quite a spot-on description! :laugh3: I mean, if you are standing in front row you can't hear a lot anyway, it's mainly just loud noise.

I wish you all the UPMOST of fun guys! Enjoy every freaking SECOND of this gig because it's over in a rush! Don't get distracted by people behind you, don't take too many pictures, just take it all in. This is a once in a lifetime experience you don't want to forget!

^ But I was one of the Jonny yellers as well! :laugh3: I can't really remember what embarassing things I did throughout the concert, but I remember yelling Jonny, but WITHOUT anything else! I listened to the 1live recording yesterday already (or this morning) and heard my voice :lol: That was me :embarassed:

REVIEW To make it easier for you guys who prefer to only read parts that are actually about the concert, I'll split this review up into different chapters. THE MADNESS BEGINS So as you all know, the insanity of getting the bloody tix started last week on friday. The tickets were sold out in TWO SECONDS. We've all been sitting there like this : But you know, sometimes life is like „lolNO“ so all of my Coldplaying friends (Claudia, Claudia2, Julia, Katja, Jelena, Kirsten, Volker) and I didn't get shit. The tix were gone. After freaking out for like 5 minutes we realised the tickets weren't really „gone“, people just all put them into the virtual basket and were still deciding wether to buy them or not. So after another couple of minutes the tix went back online, and luckily and because Coldplay karma was on my side one of my Coldplayers and I got two tix each. But that still ment that 3 of us couldn't come along :( So we participated in every possible radio show quiz and whatnot to get two additional tix, but no luck T___T Okay, well that blew but at least some of us could go and were able to witness the concert. I thought about making special tshirts for our coldplaying group so I asked for a design and we decided to make a phoenix in the style of the album's cover pigeon. So I drew this on on the night of tuesday: and went to university the next day to silk screen it on some blue shirts I got: the next day when I got out of university my guts were telling me to check the forum because... you know sometimes you know something's up and you should really REALLY listen to what your insides are saying. So I went online and saw that, cheeetaz, the most awesome person of everything that is awesome, mentioned, that the greedy people who bought tix just to sell the for prices like: had to put their tix back online because they couldn't sell them (the tix were personalized so you couldn't just transfer them to other people). That meant eventim put the cards back online. That meant tix were available again. That meant a chance to get all of my coldplaying family members tix. I was like HOLY SHIT ON A STICK, logged in with Julia login data, raped the f5 button once again while yelling over at whatsapp at everybody to stop their shit and log in on eventim. And then I got two tix in the basket, called Julia, payed everything, and then Volker also got two tix, and we were like „ok ok OK CALM DOWN EVERYBODY WE'RE ALL GOING“. Claudia started crying of happiness and tried to calm herself while I was flippin' out in front of my PC. We were alllll going to the concert tomorrow and I was just so happy. People who got tix were also doing their happy dances in the cologne threads. WE WERE GLOWING IN THE DARK Prior concert day, I made a little something to make our group more recognizable in the huge crowd of people (apart from the tshirts I made for everyone). I still had loads of the xylobands flying around and I remembered a video were someone made them glow again. So I took them apart, brazed some new wires in it, put everything back together, and if you twisted the wires that were now coming out of the plastic shell the xylobands would glow as long as the wires touched: I also took the xylobands of julia and modified them as well, so in total we had like 14 xylobands or so. CONCERT DAY I started my journey at 8:00 am, went to cologne and arrived at 10:00 at the venue. They were already six people standing around (Princes of China, Tash) so I was really happy not to sit around there all on my own. After talking to them they let me know they were already waiting there since 6am these crazy ass fans! :lol: I wasn't even planning on coming this early because Germany :| German fans don't do camping, they're actually rather lazy and usually come later :lol: So much for that haha

Oh fuck okay, I tried to remember the melody but ... it's not as catchy as VIVA I fear, otherwise I WOULD FUCKEN REMEMBER. It's awesome though OKAY IÄLL START WRITING NOW
