  2. I GOT THE MOST COOLEST LOVABLE PACKAGE YESTERDAY AHHHH LOOK Y'ALL: Okay my first thought was "None of my friends would eVER bother with wrapping up a parcel like that so who could that b- WAIT A MINUTE" Then it dawned to me that some VERY loving human out there put all of these smol adorable gifts together for me?? Hello?? FEELINGS?? YES, ALL OF THEM???? AHHH LOOK HOW CUTE: SO MUCH STUFF I enjoyed these very amazing Scotland views very much, yes. SO PRETTY Don't mind getting hit by all these Coldplay Christmas feels *fucking dies* AHHHHH AHHHHHHHH Okay so just you know, I was very moved by this and like, put all of the things up on a little garland because I'm cringe like that DON'T JUDGE
  3. *scrolls through the critics and comments* Doesn't matter what Coldplay does, they always get shat on. ALWAYS. It's like people have a hard-on for being: "FIRST!1 Okay I hate Coldplay now give me a headpat mhyes please!" LOL Anyways I think this album has a few BANGER songs that never get boring to listen to, and of course bad songs ("Biutyful" would be indeed Biutyful if there wasn't a chipmunk screaming into my ear. OH WELL) Overall I think the album is fantastic in terms of throwing out messages about humanity, togetherness and life appreciation, but having become a Coldplay fan due to loving Chris Martin's voice, I'm very frustrated when he doesn't sing himself or distorts his voice so much that it sounds annoying. As always, some songs sound better live (People of the Pride for example) and the filler "songs" are sometimes a little but... uhhh... yeah well I just skip them. Even though the "∞" track literally lets the fans sing, it's one of my favourite songs of the album. Also the last part of "Humankind" makes me very emotional. Coldplay is still producing fantastic worlds with their music and all the music critics patting their backs with their shitty reviews can suck it and listen to white noise if that's what they find hip these days lmao
  4. Oh wow okay, that song brought me back to viva times, because that "ole ole!" and the melody TOTALLY reminds me of this: Also the piano at the end, WHAT DOES IT REMIND ME OF? It seems sooo familiar, it's annyoing!
  5. SAHDJGASHDJG why did this make me laugh so much ?
  6. Okay you know what? It has been 39429 years since the last time I took part in this and I MISS YE OLDEN TIMES so yes COUNT ME IN AS WELL
  7. Same dude, it has been one of my dreams for Coldplay to go ambient and listening to all these previews makes me go all TINGLY. Coldplay can build amazing soundscapes so if they go ambient, they're gonna go hard ?
  8. THANKS MY DUDE who would have thought that after 15 friggn years I'm still as invested in this band as ever dhdfhdf

aaAAAHHH they're still as adorable as back in the days UGH (also hello )
  10. Who else got Apparatjik vibes from this?

Same old, same old, just living the Starving Artist Life™ NAAW THANK YOU My humor is one of the two things that keep me going. The other one is sleep lmao YOU CAN'T GET RID OF ME THAT EASILY BOI Yeah ok let's just say this forum has place close up to my shriveled heart and I will always come back :3 This forum has heritage quality, it's a very valuable archive at this point and it offers very interesting and important insights into the band's and fandom's history. Alone for that reason it's very important to keep it online. What I REALLY dislike about most social platforms is their ephemerality and the lack of any form of organized register. I mean it has its appeals, but it's hard to use them in groups (I'm ignoring facebook here because that platform can go die of an aneurism UGH IT'S SO BAD) ANYWAYS PROPS FOR KEEPING THIS OLD ASS RELICT ALIVE!! SUP BRO
  12. Batman replied to grids's topic in The Lounge
LOL Yeah I guess we will never get back to crazy 2008/2009 times where we had like 300 new posts per minute. AH THE NOSTALGICA. Also HELLO EVERYONE WHO'S STILL ALIVE
  13. HELLO FREN I honestly only crawled out of my hole because this new album isn't particularly amazing but has some GOOD messages. and I'm always here when things get gay lolsurprise
  14. Maybe it's just my gay goggles going bonkers over this song, but DAMN the connections would be too convinient hahaha. Maybe he knows some of Tchaikovsky's songs but not the componist's name? Happened to me too often
  15. WHUAT how can you not know this famous componist! D: Yes, if you don't know the roman empire was pro queer, and Tchaikovsky had several secret gay romances, I find the song somewhat random in those aspects. But Chris is also singing about flags "You don't need no flags to tell you who you are " I just think about the Pride Flag and how it's still necessary to show people that queers are also humans. So all these three aspects combined all share the same "secret" message and I love that :D And concluding: "And I just love you for yourself " I LIKE THIS SONG AND ITS MESSAGE VERY MUCH
  16. Anyone else getting strong pro LGTBQ+ vibes from the song (Pyotr Tchaikovsky was gay after all)? Anyways this should have totally been on the album IMHO.
  17. I think the album has a very small amount of songs that are strong enough to lift my rating of: "What a mess of audio snippets/NOO DON'T RUIN THE SONG WITH RANDOM SHIT/bland guitar tracks" to "It's better than the last two albums but still requires several re-listens to finally sound good" I'm already planning on heavily editing several songs once I get my audio software running LOL. I really dislike how there are so many REALLY ANNOYING soundbites in there that mess up the whole thing. Also a lot of them don't add anything to the overall quality. Anyways. I'm still satisfied with this. I'm also very happy about the lack of overly produced songs.
  18. Oooh I like this choir piece. Unfortunately I can't understand a word T__T
  19. *reads song title* *LAUGHS IN GAY* please tell me I'm not the only one hhhh
  20. This album legit sounds like the "Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends"-2.0 I was hoping for WOOOOH
  21. Finally, after 18 years, Jazz!Jonny ( ) finally shines in this song! :joy::p
  22. Okay seriously though, please tell me I'm not the only one who gets STRONG millennial vibes from that letter. It honestly reads like "Hey y'all, we're really tired and old and took like 30345235 years for 5 songs lol. Anyways I can't type for shit so here are our signatures in glitter font lmao bye" I love them
  23. ALWAYS, I keep those gifs and old ass smilies saved on all my backup drives, for old times sakes!
