  1. it would be a great solution like the final title ;)
  2. it's genial! it will be my favourite album title
  3. I posted the same tread in the Release section but it was before they revealed the last song titles.... so, updating my tracklist: Lost! Death and all his friends Chinese sleep chant 42 Cemeteries od London Strawberry swing Reign of love Famous old painters Violet hill Yes
  4. we could find the mathematical law to calculate the release date fot LP5 and LP6... it could be something with exp... hope NO! :S
  5. I like the contrast between title (viva la vida) that's about life and song titles like death and all his friends od cemeteries of London... I think there's a good reason for this contrast.. DALHF is much cooler, i agree... but it's not artistic like the other way! :laugh3: such a title could be diplomatic to make everyone happy
  6. I think you can't tell an artist to change the title to his masterpiece!! ;) as if I said Leonardo's Gioconda shouldn't be called Gioconda but with other famale name cause I find it horrible... if they want Viva la Vida, that's ok! we have to mind the music
  7. I thought tha same things... but now some sites say it will be out in june 16th so who knows why they are waiting so much if they really have finished and decided almost everything... My suspect is that they want to make the best album ever and untill they're not enough satisfied (it could mean an endless time too) they won't release it... but our hope is that EMI will push them to hurry cause they're looking forward to earning...
  8. June 16th???? I read on rockol.it that LP4 will release on 16th June worldwide... and other news about concerts (a gig in London on 13th June, another one in NY on 23th June...) well, don't know the real source of this news, play.com and hmv.co.uk report the same date...
  9. Oops.... :surprised: I read the opposite... those 5 were my MOST fave songs... :P Thanks for making me notice that... well, my 5 least fave now (among the ones I know): 5 Twisted logic 4 Sleeping sun 3 The world turned upside down 2 A whisper 1 Daylight
  10. I'd say: "Finally!" or "Ode to fans'patience' Now seriously, I'd say 42 or life in technicolor...
  11. if it's possible you could re-edit the 1st post and change the title of the thread before other people say other bad things...
  12. I actually feel as we are going to wait an endless time...
  13. since some titles speak about death and many songs sound very dark, I immagine an artwork in tim burton style... it would be nice wouldn't it?

in Q magazine they mentioned it in this part: "While Q’s in the studio, Eno beavers away on Famous Old Painters, employing a gizmo called a Midi Piano Bar to translate Martin’s signature piano riff onto a variety of other instruments. “We don’t want piano all the way through,” Eno says, flagging up another significant change in the sound of the as-yet-untitled album. ”

maybe because coldplay already spoke about it to Q magazine...or maybe bacause RS reporter did not hear that song while he/she was there. in the RS article we can read only 8 titles that could be on the album (+ non-album track "violet hill") , so there will be other songs on the album that we don't know, and famous old painters could be one of them..
  16. :shocked2::shocked2: a magic number
  17. I'd say 'death and all his friends' or 'cemeteries of london'...:laugh3:
  18. I read these titles on wikipedia but, apart bucket for crown that was performed, I don't know if they appeared at first somewhere else... wikipedia isn't so reliable IMO should we consider them possible songs?
  19. 'chinese sleep chant' soulds the most interesting to me... several months ago when my father went to germany for his job, he bought a cd in which there were many famous nowadays songs (including Clocks by CP), performed like gregorian chants... it sounds strange but not so bad ot hear... when I read the synopsis about CSC I thought of something like that but probably it has nothing to do with it
  20. the description of 'strawberry swing' sounds like that one of glass of water.. african songs... I'm wondering which previous track was renamed if any was...
  21. I'll start: 1. 42 2. Lovers in Japan 3. Glass of water 4. Yes! 5. Cemeteries of London 6. Famous old painters 7. Violet hill 8. Lost! 9. Rainy day 10. Song for the Escapist
  22. That's the game: each of us will try to guess the LP4tracklist (no edits, no second posts) LP4 should have 9 songs + escapist (according to last non-official news) and the winner will win... nothing! just the fame to be able to see the future... or if someome could think of some good prize, suggestions are welcome :) here the songs we know: * Lost! * Cemeteries Of London * Violet Hill * Poppy Fields * 42 * Yes! * Leftrightleftrightleft * Rainy Day * Famous Old Painters * Glass Of Water * Prospekt's March * Lovers In Japan * Strawberry Swing * Song For The Escapist (sure track)
  23. johnnymax865 replied to cephaus's topic in Coldplay
I've always thought it's not a song title too! effectively I found it a stange title for a song... it's difficult to traslate sensefully to me too... Also they say 'prospekt' isn't the LP title and it's someone's signature... so it isn't a title at all... could it refer to 'album's process'? still an unsolved mistery
