Live @ Brixton : Freakin AMAZING SHOW ! THANKS RADIO 1 AND COLDPLAY! I don`t remember ever enjoying hearing anything via radio so much ! I loved this show- and although I cried tears of joy over the Live 2003 DVD, there was just something about this concert that was just simply joyous! Great to have the people on this board to share the excitement with as well ! But my biggest thanks go to our boys of CP themselves...after many, many listens to all the new tracks, I was struggling to really like "Strawberry Swing", and even Lovers in Japan". But I must admit here and now, hearing these live have converted me , unsure what it was, but the songs sounded awesome live . I feel relieved that I can finally enjoy ALL the new tracks now. Not threadworthy, I know, sorry....I just had to say it! **runs to finally join the **SQUEEEE!!** thread....:D:D:D

Exactly my thoughts!..."sounded like a remix of the acoustic version" Both efforts to be respected in their own right, but for me, the solo is ...so...so..:kiss:

My vote is with the acoustic(sorry, PIANO ), version.Only because it is the raw, emotion-charged voice of simply Chris that draws me.... but maybe they didn`t feel the show would need a breathtaking moment; rather, opted for the good ole clap -yer-hands and sing along version...:P

I put this into a previous thread a couple weeks ago, but in case it may help anyone out there....I bid and got GREAT seats for the OKC show on a website called http://www.fanprice.com After I posted that, another member here in the forums also bid there, got Great seats, cheaper than expected, and was also very pleased with the site. Just an FYI, hope it may be of use to someone else.:)
