  1. The song will take time to grow on me I think, very different. The video has grown already, very erotic and very nice.
  2. Sorry but I hate them!! Only a cartoon metal band. Even when I enjoyed this stuff and was a Donington gig goer I could not stand them. Bunch of poseurs.
  3. I certainly agree about Mark Webber. The best driver who will probably never win a race in his career because the opportunity for a big drive is not there. What he gets out of a Red Bull is miraculous. His qualifying is amazing, so consistent. Makes you wonder why a big team have not picked him up. He is too non-conformist I think for the big three.
  4. Can we start a new argument as to why Muse are so much better than Queen? In my opinion there is no contest.
  5. Only heard a few Beatles songs, the popular one's, own one album, Magical Mystery Tour. They do not blow me away. I think the reason for their popularity was because they were the first to blow away normality, along with the Stones. People either loved one or the other, and because the Beatles were the nice boys they were more popular. If they came around today would they be as big as Oasis? Who are nowhere near as popular as the Beatles were. More competition for the popular music fan today. They may have their five minutes of fame but would they last as long as say U2? We will never know because they were first.
  6. I know, hope we see him back soon with another team. When he tested for BAR he was often faster than Jensen. Deserves his chance.
  7. Any other British formula one fans not really into Lewis Hamilton? I would rather Kimi Raikkonen win it again anyday. Don't know what it is about Lewis but I just can't get behind him. Would love to see Jensen Button do well or Anthony Davidson, which are both unlikely, but Lewis Hamilton what is it about him? Good win by Massa yesterday and Lewis drove a great strategy but come on the Ice man.
  8. Have Kraftwerk been mentioned yet:rolleyes:? Just wondered.
  9. The Doves vs Athlete Has anyone else noticed the similarities between the intro to the incredible Snowden by the Doves and the instrumental passage at about 2 minutes on Athlete's brilliant This Is What I Sound Like? Spooky heh? The rest of the songs are very different but this part is uncanny. Think both songs are awesome.
  10. Thanks for the link.
  11. Anyone have this live version or is it on this site already? Cheers.
  12. Athlete Keane Embrace Coldplay Thirteen Senses
  13. That would be interesting to hear because the B-side version definately lacks something.
  14. Gravity- Embrace vs Coldplay. Do not know whether this has been debated before but I was wondering which version people thinks is the definative version, Embrace or Coldplay? I have to say that after hearing the version by Embrace the version by Coldplay sounds boring. :o Sorry and all that but that is how I feel. What do others think?
  15. Now Shaun Murphy has surprisingly gone my vote goes to Peter Ebdon. I know he bores the pants off alot of people but I Love the way you can literally see him clinically make his way through a game. His tactics against Ronnie O'Sullivan a few years ago to literally make him fall asleep were class. Come on Peter.
  16. Just heard the new single Hallelujah, New World. It is excellent. Thanks for tip.:)
  17. From next year I think. No more bloody adverts. Hoooorrraaaayyyyy.:P
  18. Selby for the title I think. What an amazing year he is having.
  19. In my opinion the best music DVD ever released. Amazing, puts the songs in a great Icelandic context. This band know how to communicate pure emotion.:)

Watching your team finally win a trophy. Boring if your team always wins, but when you follow an underdog this brings a real warmth.
  21. 11:30 am. Enjoying the solitude of a peaceful house. Wife and kids are all out.:smug:
  22. Saw them on tour in Cardiff, Wales. Fantastic concert. Surprised by how small the venue and how small the crowd. Not as big as I thought. The deserve alot of credit. The new album is a real grower, the more you listen the more there is to love. Tourist was immense but Neighbourhood is deeper and not so immediate. Will probably last longer. Thanks for the b-side downloads by the way.:D
  23. :stunned:How did you work out that I was a reverend? Well an ex one anyway. Thanks for the greetings. Looking forward to some fun on the forum. Wales in beautiful and sunny today. The mountains look amazing outside my window and I'm listening to a mix of great music. Aqualung at the moment. Speak soon.:)
  24. The Memory Man album is immense. After their first hit I kept away but just picked up some stuff on download and love this album. Cinderella is one of the best songs I have heard in ages. Pure emotion. Worth a second chance if you rejected them like I did.
  25. Hi there from the land of Grand Slam winners. I am an Englishman abroad who has taken much stick for the Rugby this year. Love Coldplay, U2, Keane, Thirteen Senses, Athlete and many others. Great to find this forum.:D
