Radiohead
^read the description on their website also w/ the tracklisting I just saw this on NME So I guess we won't know anything until the album is released. Man this band really doesn't want to tell us anything right up until we get the album. edit: So their site for the album has like a tech support section. So I talked to one of their operators, and sent them my motion graphics piece... I'm hoping they'll forward it to the band! :D for those that haven't seen it

Egyptian Uprising
These protests in Egypt have now opened the floodgates to so many other countries from doing the same (as now seen in Yemen, Iran, etc)

...or another album release shortly after (like how amnesiac was to kid a) also another LP should be tonight, for OK Computer edit: Someone posted a picture and it makes sense, the new album cover looks like Kid A meets In Rainbows

Radiohead
I'd say there's pretty much no chance of a leak simply because the band is kind of leaking the album themselves on Sat. You make a really good point. I think that Coldplay and U2 definitely have more of a mainstream following that their fans expect them to release really catchy pop songs. On the other hand I feel that fans and also a lot of critics expect from Radiohead a sense of innovation because they are always changing their sound, and also are experimental in ways they release music. yup that's what I saw yesterday, however if you go back to that site it's no longer there. So I'm not sure if they just don't want people to know how many tracks there are, or there actually isn't 8 songs. I guess we'll find out soon.

Radiohead-The King of Limbs, which one did you order?
I totally agree. Besides the Beatles there is no other band that I would spend or dedicate so much of my time to.

^^just so you know no one had any idea when the album was set to be released, and it was a total surprise this morning. You may be confusing when the boxsets will be sent out which is in May. just to clear things up.

Radiohead-The King of Limbs, which one did you order?
it is a shame, but also it opens up the possibility to another album like how Kid A and Amnesiac were released

Radiohead
Well first of all they are independent in the sense of not under contract and tied down to release a specific amount amount of albums, hence they are releasing the album on their own. Though of course they are using labels to help distribute the album) Secondly they have said numerous times, especially for In Rainbows, that they want to release the album as soon as they are finished which they did. Also like I said, I really doubt that Radiohead care about charts, and even if they did neither U2 or Coldplay have stated the release date of their albums so why would Radiohead want to just wait for them to release theirs first? You make no sense.

Radiohead
I seriously doubt the band cares about when U2 and Coldplay release an album. edit: also that Japanese site for the new album got rid of how many songs are on the album http://thekingoflimbs.jp/sites/en/
