^nicely put. I still remember the day so vividly. I can't get over that it all has happened. Looking at the memorial it looks really great. I'd love to get to visit it sometime. I also tried to see if the lights are on. Normally I can see them, but w/ the weather and haziness I couldn't see them. I think it's days like these that we should spend more time putting aside our differences and be just human beings united as one. I mean from 9/11 not only did you have so many people die from the attacks but the after effects, whether it be the wars, or people attacking muslims within the US or whatever. When you think about it in the simplest terms it's so stupid to kill each other over such trivial things. If anything should be "defeated" from all of this it is extremism to which makes the killing of civilians acceptable. I'm not just talking about the terrorists from the attacks, but also governments in general too. I really feel if we stopped fighting against each other and worked together the human race could accomplish so much. (maybe i'm just being naiive, but I sometimes wonder where peoples common sense is when they have such hatred towards others to want to kill people over stupid things like an invisible man in the sky)

yeah. have you listened to the Thom Yorke/Modeselektor collab on the song The White Flash? I really like it! Actually the beeps are intentional. Basically it's like an audio watermark so when people rip or download the song it isn't the full final version I guess. It's annoying.

When I listen to Shipwreck I can't sit still... I keep moving around and bobbing my head... it makes me want to dance :lol: :|

Meh?... honestly I think they are so good! I can't stop listening to them :lol: I might try... I don't know. I've been so busy at work I haven't had time to think about it. What do you think about them overall?

If you start with In Rainbows or The Bends you can't go wrong as a beginning step. then go for OK Computer and then the rest after that.

Don't count on it. They pretty much never change their setlist. If I see them live this go around, it'll only be once mainly for that reason.

That's alright, I forgive you. I mean I understand what you are getting at in that the news or politics can use fear tactics, and I know that it's been used in the past. Like I said for NY and most of the north east a storm like this is extremely uncommon. I mean the last time the city had a hurricane hit was in the 1800's, so it's natural for people to react. And like I said I think it's better to be overprepared for a storm than not. Afterall we wouldn't want to have another Katrina happen.

well people are going to "go off" on you because that whole whistle post which was in poor taste. When it comes to peoples safety for a storm there's no need to make it seem the media has over-hyped it. Yeah perhaps it wasn't as strong of a storm as a category 5 storm, but for NY and the north east it was a big deal considering we've never had a storm like this before. Perhaps if you lived here and understood the context you would understand better. yeah... I mean for my uncle last I heard they said the water hasn't even crested so who knows what the situation is on how flooded they are.
