I agree... I mean the whole chanting of USA over and over I find a bit embarrassing. I mean if only they knew of the attrocities that our country (as well as every other country) has committed, might make them thing twice. Also another thing that really annoys me is the whole God Bless America. As if God would really give a shit about this country. It's just a line that really annoys the hell out of me every time I hear it. good point. But it's still a huge majority of the country that follows and votes for idiots like Palin, Bachmann, Pelosi, Reid, Bush, etc. My point is basically that if someone is to run a country they should at least be somewhat intelligent and able to do so. But I feel that a lot of people would have someone that they can relate to more rather than be above them. I mean face it. A lot of people really like Sarah Palin. But she is an utter moron. But many are willing to put that aside because she can act sassy or seems more down to earth. To be honest I could care less about that and the thought of her in high office seriously scares me.

it's a good point. it seems most americans are easily bought into these simple minded people to be their representatives. It seems that ever since bush was elected this has been the case. Because although he can't speak well, at least he is a real american in his values and how he acts. I feel this is how a lot of Americans feel. To be honest I really don't care too much if they're a "real american" or their family values. I think if they seem like a good leader and also intelligent it's most important. Also from what you've mentioned it seems to me to just build on the fact that the rest of the world sees us as being stupid for electing these idiots.

I know she's not running but what about Hillary Clinton when I think about it I don't really get what the big deal is in some sense of flip flopping. I mean if it's done for soley political reasons to get votes then I see it being wrong. But personally I feel it's not so bad if it's because you have simply changed your opinion on a given topic because of new information you've been given. But of course people won't like that. :lol: i've never understood why people riot for sports. I could understand if it was for like a protest against the government or something that effects someones well being or life. but rioting over your favorite team loosing? come on.
