X&Y is my favourite coldplay album, love almost every song on it. Im confident that Viva will be though once its released if Violet Hill is anything to go by

Great song :D would sound even better live as you said. Allthough I loved speed of sound, it wasnt that great live and didnt really have an edge to it, sounded better on radio :P Looking foward to when they first play it live!

As you know, Coldplay are giving away their new single for a week on their site. They will then be releasing it as a single (download only) on May 6th (correct me if im wrong) Given the chart history of Coldplay in the UK, they have been robbed of 2 #1 single's before by Darius (or whatever he is called) and the Crazy Frog :\ Allthough a lot of #1 single's are a joke, it would be great if Violet Hill became their first UK #1 :) Giving away the single a week before would decrease the chances of that happening by a lot but considering most of the people who download over the next week will be Coldplay fan's and also considering that a lot of people not just fan's get a bootleg version of a song they really like from a radio rip on limewire for example rather than wait and pay for it :P Giving away the single for free (even if just for a week) is something very crazy for such a massive band to do and it shows they care about us (the Coldplay fans) a lot so please, lets give something back to them :D Answer the poll :)

I'll post if I hear anything more about coldplay on radio1. About an hour or so ago they did a short coldplay history of previous singles and a few reminders, nothing big yet though, only over an hour to go now!

Listening to radio 1 atm, earlier they played clocks followed by a short clip of cornflake door / cheese windows, lol! Cant wait :D I'll be listening to it in my room though, im sick atm but at least I can listen to it live :)

Wow! sounds so great! What a day its going to be, get to listen to violet hill for 7 hours then watch the man u v barca game then listen to it for several more hours after the game :) Cant wait! Yeh, wouldnt mind if he was talking about their earlier stuff like harder to breathe though.

hahaha that song is so cheesy yet so funny, it might become the next rick roll :laugh3: Anyway, I love the new reviews, I hope yes is their 'heaviest' rock song yet :)

I doubt it would be new artwork, would it be more important than the news we have allready about the actual album? :P An album coming out is proberly the biggest news we have had so far, the only thing that is realistic that some people would think is bigger is a massive world tour, so I voted for that one.
