  1. Sweet. :) Have you heard the leak of the new album? I was going to wait, but curiousity got the best of me. It's a really great album (I'm of course going to buy it on Tuesday.)
  2. Genesis - No Son Of Mine
  3. You should check your local library. Mine always seems to have a copy of Bag Of Bones on the shelf. The Green Mile was one of the best book to movie adaptions I've ever seen. The Mist, too. They both played out on the screen the same way that I imagined the scenes when I read them. Yeah, Stephen King doesn't like a lot of his movies. I'm considering renting IT (since I'm enjoying that book so much), but I'm not sure if I should. I don't want my experience of the book tainted by a bad movie. Cell is a great book, one of Stephen King's best. I highly recommend it. :) Oh cool, where were you seated? I had lawn seats, btw, so I was way in the back.
  4. Nope. This is the girl who had never heard of The Beatles. :laugh3:
  5. Really tired.
  6. Genesis - Harlequin
  7. I can admit that I like some of Britney's music. But I wouldn't be caught dead going to one of her concerts.
  8. I've never thought he was going to say almost. I always thought he intended to say ooh ooh.
  9. They're all really good. :) There are several periods of the band, there's: Period 1 (the classic 60s lineup): In The Court Of The Crimson King, In The Wake Of Poseidon Period 2 (the first one-off lineup): Lizard Period 3 (the second one-off lineup): Islands Period 4 (the classic 70s lineup): Larks' Tongues In Aspic, Starless and Bible Black, Red Period 5 (the 80s lineup): Discipline, Beat, Three Of A Perfect Pair Period 6 (the last lineup): Thrak, The Construkction Of Light, The Power To Believe If I had to recommend albums from them, I'd say go for In The Wake Of Poseidon (if you like In The Court), try Larks' Tongues In Aspic or Red, and get either Discipline or Thrak. The Power To Believe is also really good. Save Islands for last, it's their worst album.
  10. I forgot about that one. :shocked2: I liked it, too. It was so sad when the mother was killed at the end, though. I agree, although I thought The Green Mile and The Mist were also pretty faithful to the book versions, too. I think the biggest messup I've seen so far was the movie version of Christine. The book had so much depth and feeling, it really was more than a horror tale. And the movie was just some teen-slasher flick that really left out some of the best bits.
  11. Seriously, there's no one else on here who likes Stephen King!?! :shocked2:
  12. I may be going for a bit of a stretch, but are there any other King Crimson fans on here? :) My favorite album from them is either In The Court Of The Crimson King, Red, Discipline, Three Of A Perfect Pair, or Thrak.
  13. I feel really bad for this family. Amy Winehouse is really screwed up, and she's just not seeing it. I hope she pulls out of it, and doesn't end up like Kurt Cobain or Jimi Hendrix.
  14. Rob Thomas - Fire On The Mountain
  15. King Crimson - Indiscipline
  16. King Crimson - Frame By Frame
  17. My stomach hurts, but other than that I feel good. :)
  18. Parachutes is my favorite.
  19. Coldplay Genesis King Crimson The Mars Volta Riverside
  20. King Crimson - Cat Food
  21. Great interview, thanks for posting. :)
  22. City Fines Parking in Own Driveways posted: 3 HOURS 17 MINUTES AGO TOLEDO, Ohio (June 16) -- Residents of Toledo, Ohio, are complaining that they received $25 tickets for parking their vehicles in their own driveways. Mayor Carty Finkbeiner says he stands by the citations handed out last week by the Division of Streets, Bridges and Harbor. He says the tickets were issued under a city law against parking on unpaved surfaces, including gravel driveways. During a news conference Monday, Finkbeiner ignored a reporter's question of whether the crackdown and fines were related to the city's budget crisis. The three-term mayor faces a recall vote in November. Critics have claimed he's wasted city money. City Councilman D. Michael Collins calls the ticketing "Mickey Mouse nonsense." He has told residents he'll try to have the citations rescinded. http://news.aol.com/article/ohioans-ticketed-for-parking-in-own/528334?icid=webmail|wbml-aol|dl1|link6|http%3A%2F%2Fnews.aol.com%2Farticle%2Fohioans-ticketed-for-parking-in-own%2F528334
