Well, if you think I was vulgar, I apologise - although I think you got off lightly from me when you read some of the other comments on this thread. But were you referring to yourself when you mentioned diplomacy? You weren't being diplomatic - just vague. In your first post all you did was criticise the album, without explaining why. You can't post on a forum like this and not expect people to call you on it.

He was in a very cheesy film in the early 90's called "Peter's Friends", with Fry, Kenneth Brannagh & Emma Thompson. Very English humour, but I love it, and Hugh is very good in it (although he doesn't really do any of the comedy in it)

It's weird to think of Hugh Laurie as this big tv star with his American drama - and accent! I first saw him in the early 90's - he had this great sketch show with Stephen Fry. A ridiculous comedy show (very funny), where he would quite often play a total fool, or a woman. And now he's this big serious actor, and the subject of your crush!

By weird celebrity crush I meant, celebs who might not seem like "crush" material - people who are not considered to be particularly good looking. MC had it right - David Boreanaz was considered a heart throb at the time, whereas Hugh Laurie is perhaps a little too "mature" for that label. Thanks for the history of your celeb crushes, Hotplay. Interesting to see how your tastes have changed - those are three very different looking men!

In My Place I'd heard other stuff by them and liked it, but I fell in love with that song the first time I heard it. I love the guitar, Chris' vocals sound amazing, and the video seemed to be on the telly constantly. It was one of those songs that just seemed to stalk me - but I loved it anyway.
