  1. You're not shit, you're just not nearly as good and as big as you claim to be. And about being in the top, you're tied with United, despite having played two more matches than them. Even though you're not the best, you're a good team, and I have a feeling you'll win the Premier League this year. No United fan thought it was unfair when Nani scored that crazy goal against Tottenham. Life's unfair. Get over it.
  2. Nice win by Spurs. And a clean sheet!:lol: If both Fulham and West Ham manage to stay in the Premier League for the next season, we should have 6 London team in it, since QPR should get promoted. That would be very cool! But even cooler than that would be to have the East London Derby in The Championship next year. I'd love to see some (metaphorical) blood :P And the Hammers are beating Everton by 1-0.
  3. And in many other matches you were lucky. Being lucky/unlucky is part of the game. If you want to win this trophy you must play well enough so luck can't mess with you.
  4. The derby Atlético de Madrid-Real Madrid and Espanyol-Barcelona aren't, by themselves, as strong as Barça-Madrid, 'cause Barça and Madrid don't care about their local rivals (what makes a derby strong is the mutual feeling of rivalry), but they are extremely important for Atlético and Espanyol.
  5. If we could read your mind, we would know the truth and this discussion would be pointless. We can't, so we can't know the truth. We're not allowed to assume you're saying the truth, 'cause we just don't know that. If you want to convice us of anything, use arguments. If you don't want, just say so and this discussion will end. You're claiming she must dislike Coldplay just 'cause she dislikes Jonny as a guitarist. Fallacy of composition: something must be true/false for the whole just because it's true/false to some of its components. Your inability to understand logic saddens me.
  6. Just clearing up, I'm not a she  But other than that you're completely right.
  7. Hello my friend! I had the honor to make your mixtape. Young Galaxy - Wailing Wall It's an underground canadian indie band. Their first album is very good! Glad you liked it. Right! The Police - Synchronicity I. I confess I fastened it a bit using an audio editor, it just sounded too slow after listening to it in a live DVD. It's a pity you didn't like it. Simply Red - It's Only Love It was originally written by Barry White in 78. I really like this version! Nirvana - Come As You Are One of their best, no doubt! The Verve - Bitter Sweet Symphony Actually that's their only song I really like :D Tears For Fears - Everybody Wants To Rule The World And you got it right! It's from 85. Sting - Low Life The other good songs from this album were very long, so... It's a pity you didn't like it though. Right again! The Who - Won't Get Fooled Again I agree, it could've been a bit shorter. But it's a classic, so what the hell... :P The Smiths - There Is A Light That Never Goes Out Old again, this one's from 86. Jethro Tull - Mother Goose Ian Anderson is the vocalist, he's awesome. Jethro Tull are the kings of folk rock. The Rolling Stones - Miss You ;) Classic one, just like you stated, nothing much to say... Fito Paez - Parte Del Aire He's one of the most famous argentinanian musicians. Jeff Beck - Space Boogie Didn't expect anyone to like this one, just included it in case my partner was secretly a fusion freak  But these are one of the best musicians there are, that is undeniable! U2 - Sunday Bloody Sunday Another classic one... :P Four Tops - Reach Out, I'll Be There This is the original one. Written by songwriting team Holland-Dozier-Holland, they used to made very good songs! The Smashing Pumpkins - With Every Light The only one you got wrong! It's from 2000. It was an honour to be reviewed by you  Just out of curiosity, was your guess about your mixtape maker right? I'm sorry for the songs you didn't like. I tried to make a mixtape everyone would like at least a few songs. Condensed tracklist G'bye! I'm reviewing mine soon enough...
  8. I know what you're SAYING, there's no way to know what you're saying is the truth. Perhaps you're ashamed of you team and you're ashamed that you're ashamed of it, we'll never know. The only way to convince a person that you're right (or saying the truth, in this case) is using good arguments. But if you don't want to convince anyone just say the word and this discussion (which has shown to be pointless to date) ends.
  9. Ever heard about 'lie'? It's defined as a false statemente that is expressed by the liar as true! Amazing, innit? You obviously know the right answer, but we don't. Don't want to convince us of anything? Fine! Just say so and end this pointless discussion.
  10. You being you probably knows the right answer, but we (outsiders) don't. Reilly made a good point, and unless you manage to show WITH ARGUMENTS that he's wrong, we'll think he's right. If you don't care about that, fine.
  11. You being or not ashamed of supporting Charlton are both conclusions. Reilly defends the conclusion that you're ashamed of it with premises. When a premise defends a conclusion, you have an argument. Reilly has coined many arguments, all of them with the same conclusion. If you want to discuss (remembering that the objective of a discussion is convincing your adversary that you're right), it's time for you to create your own set of arguments (you only stated conclusions, without premises, thus not creating arguments. If you don't want to convince anyone, don't, but be aware that it'd make Reilly right for everybody that is watching this discussion.
  12. You still have to be proud of the clud you support. You just need to be ashamed of the people that are running your club. An institution can't get involved in nefarious activity by itself, people must use it for wrongful activity. You don't stop being proud of your club, you just need to be ashamed of the people that are using it for this purpose. Just like I said, you don't EVER cease being proud of the club you support. You can hate its players, you can hate the people that run it, but you'll ALWAYS be proud of the club.
  13. You have to separate CLUB and SQUAD. Club is the institution itself, and you must always be proud of supporting it. Squad is the set of players they might REPRESENT while playing. You are entitled to your opinion about the current squad of your team, but you don't stop supporting a CLUB only 'cause their current squad is shit.
  14. I thought the existence of Charlton supporters was a myth
  15. Holy crap, he's a Charlton supporter FOR REAL?
  16. They're a good team. Way better than Mazembe.
  17. It'd be weird to have Internacional x Internacionale in the 3rd place match :wink3:
  18. There's no reason to hate you. Everybody in this whole world expected us to at least PLAY Internazionale. But well, we played like shit 'cause the players thought the match was already won. Well, it wasn't.
  19. I'm ashamed. Proud of supporting the club, ashamed of supporting this squad.
  20. ^^ You keep saying Manchester City is a big team. Well, big teams don't cry over players. Players come and go, yet the team is always there. If a good player left you find another one. Nobody is irreplaceable. And why was mc_squared banned? Actually, I have a pretty good idea (), but I'd like to know it for a fact.
  21. I'd love to see an Arsenal/Tottenham. COME ON YOU SPURS!!
  22. That's true. No way that was a penalty! Yep. Tottenham in 1st and Internazionale in 2nd. THE CLUB WORLD CUP IS COMING!! VAMO VAMO (BRAZILIAN) INTER!!
  23. It's nothing personal. Your country has Boris Berezovsky, Roman Abramovich et al., and, you know, "something is rotten in the state of Russia" :P
  24. Two members of FIFA voting comitte (or something like that) were suspended for taking bribe. And I ask you: do you really think they're the only ones?
  25. They plan to install air conditioners in all the stadiums and training centers. ----- I'm sure this decision doesn't have anything to do with the Qatar sheikhs and the Russian oligarchs... NOT!
