You being or not ashamed of supporting Charlton are both conclusions. Reilly defends the conclusion that you're ashamed of it with premises. When a premise defends a conclusion, you have an argument. Reilly has coined many arguments, all of them with the same conclusion. You still have to be proud of the clud you support. You just need to be ashamed of the people that are running your club. An institution can't get involved in nefarious activity by itself, people must use it for wrongful activity. You don't stop being proud of your club, you just need to be ashamed of the people that are using it for this purpose. Just like I said, you don't EVER cease being proud of the club you support. You can hate its players, you can hate the people that run it, but you'll ALWAYS be proud of the club.

You have to separate CLUB and SQUAD. Club is the institution itself, and you must always be proud of supporting it. Squad is the set of players they might REPRESENT while playing. You are entitled to your opinion about the current squad of your team, but you don't stop supporting a CLUB only 'cause their current squad is shit.
