  7. Another translation :P The news is the one that leads. Theres no doubt that the album, the sensation of the year. Had fears that this fourth piece of work from Coldplay, didn't live up to the expectations, but not only has it not let me down, it has also surprised me. Only time gives the reason [why], but i suppose its a master piece. A classic. It doesn't surprise me that they have titled it 'Viva la vida' as an homage to the famous painting of Frida Kahlo of the Watermelons. The Theme(song) that gives the album its title, is a magnificent song. Adventurous, full of shades and with an outstanding, impeccable refrain. The album starts of with 'Life in Technicolor', with a very , everlasting 'coldplay' melody. I ignore it because they have left it as an instrumental. 'Violet Hill', which is the first 'single', is like experimenting in new ways, very much to the style of U2, but in a way that the Irish group didn't dare [to do] or didn't want to see it. In this theme you can notice Brian Eno's hand, as producer, and with his experience with U2, Even though Chris Martin has gotten along well with the engineer Eno. Another one of my most favourite [songs] is the theme called '42', with the typical feeling of Martin, and his voice that penetrates the soul. But all the 10 themes are highly guarded, Full of surprises, with more guitars than ever. The Album art is the famous painting of Delacroix of 'liberty guiding the people' which is found at the Louvre. We are in May. Time of revolutions. Coldplay will present the album live at the Brixton Academy of London, the next 16 of June, which coincides with the official release of the album. One week later, Monday 23, they will also perform it live at the Madison Square Garden. Both concerts will be free. The order of the Track list ~ this after noon we'll go more in depth on the contents of the album Goosebumps(or shivers) run down the spine of the disc industry. Coldplays fourth album, titled "Viva la vida" can save the honour of a business at the brink of extinction. Above all, it puts a bag of oxygen for Guy Hands, a "spontanious" that jumped into the world of music, by buying EMI - the label of the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Queen-, like a ("pelotazo", literally means 'getting hit by a ball') he sowed his company, Terra Firma . But after a few months, this small king of karaoke- is said to have one of the biggest collections in the world-, realized he had made a mistake.
  8. I live in canada :P so i know both languages fluently, having said that, this was particularly hard to translate.
  9. Another attempt at translation :P Intelligently, The title of Kahlo's painting has helped Martin to design the most daring, wise, romantic and free theme that we have heard in a long time. "Viva la Vida" Has some unique music colours, perhaps helped by the experience of Brian Eno - Producer among others , of U2 - and drawn in new styles never before attempted by Martin. Its like if Coldplay are the modern brothers, and safekeepers of U2, The Refrain is Perfect, Demolishing, impeccable
  10. I'll attempt translate this to the best of my abilities; The album we just finished hearing, thanks to the courtesy of the authors, Starts off with a beautiful "life in technicolor", turned into virtually an instrumental, eventhough you hear martin [say] "Baby , this world is very violent". The instrumental has a melody, that reminds Coldplay of "Parachutes". Chris Martin in his very own Stylistic revolution, didn't want to sing it even though it had lyrics, fearful that he might remember old songs like "yellow". He had to break the mold. The whole album has the key of having more voilent guitars, more meaninful, and "backin-tracks" that are more daring, than the previous sentimental outlines of earlier albums. Its like coldplay had planed a sound that is comparable to the large stadium acts. The step or the course pending the group. The attempt of being u2 or the rolling sotnes in large stadiums This style is very noticeable in their first single, the first star theme "voilet hill" that is being given away free at their own website of the band. If they pretended to surprise [everyone] with "Violet hill" they have accomplished it. All of the stigma of the theme resounds power, anger, almost like a conversation, "If you love me, Why dont you let me know let me [get to] know myself" All of the final [part of the] album is like a suite that finishes of on the title of frida kahlos painting " Viva la vida and death and all his friends". Its a sounding glance at new musical uncertainties, which have new tendencies in which the music can travel. And of course, not with the karaoke "la liberte guidant le people" Tough translation :S
