  1. I wrote the Richmond Hill response! :D
  2. I find the title to the TIME article ironic, considering that the Washington Times used a similar title. They're complaining bout Coldplay's creativity, when that TIME writer could do the same with his wordplay in the article.
  3. There one wanker on the official board who is asking $20+ for one wristband, claiming he'll give 10% to Make Trade Fair. Hello, I bought my white Make Trade Fair logo tee for $20 at Coldplay's Amphitheatre gig.... And the guy wouldn't broker a deal with me (for a price from $5-$8), even though we live in the same city so he could skip shipping charges. What a tool. Go to http://www.makepovertyhistory.ca/e/whiteband.html and ge t a white wristband that's part of the MakePovertyHistory campaign... that Coldplay's part of at Live 8. 5 for $10 or 1 for $2 is a great deal; and none of it ends up in the hands of a middleman.
  4. Which has a bigger capacity... ACC full arena, or the Amphitheatre? Cuz the Backstreet Boys are "performing" at the Amphitheatre the same night. I would have expected the two acts to play at the opposite venues. Not just the size issues, but it makes more sense to see pop acts indoors, with all the elaborate sets and special effects.
  5. the colours the programmer used are a bit different from the ones in the X&Y booklet. For example, the letter "L" is different..... But to give him credit, he was simply assuming the colour scheme from the sources he had available.
  6. I like to meet the actual band and get them to sign items in person.
  7. I could rip the tracks to mp3 and upload them on rapidshare
  8. http://www.easytoplease.net/tour.php?page=setlist08/22/01 08/22/01 Reykjavik, Iceland This was like one of their last European shows before going into studios for AROBTTH. 4 early tracks from that album on it. I like the fact that Idiot is on the setlist. Now that's a mint track.
  9. Yeah... this is Waterloo, not TO....
  10. Bit Torrent is your friend... or check the multimedia forum on this board.
  11. If you have any concert bootlegs from 2001, you can hear some early versions of Amsterdam, A Rush Of Blood To The Head, God Put A Smile Upon Your Face and In My Place. In My Place sounds unchanged... but the other three had different lyrics and song structures...
  12. Well it was only a 2 min walk for me... meh... :) In the Star ad, it said you only get one poster... I got two... woot...lol
  13. I just got my copy. Woot, came with 2 posters for 9.99. I hope they didn't give anything else away.....
  14. It's the first stop on the NA tour, that's why. There's ppl desperate to see the band and this is their first chance to do so. Plus all the usual factors bout TO like its size and location.
  15. it's up on DimeADozen
  16. There's a midnight sale for the release of White Stripes, Black Eyed Peas and Coldplay. There's supposedly some prizes at the door or after purchase....
  17. How many ppl are going to the Waterloo store tonite? I am, cuz it's a 2 min. walk from where I live. There's supposedly giveaways at the midnight opening... whatever that means.
  18. It'll be up on DimeADozen, 100% sure of it.
  19. You're talking like an EMI executive.... :o Regardless of how many units they sell, the boys will always be proud of their work.
  20. I hope it sells less so that the band can go back to doing smaller more intimate shows! The real fans will stick around in the long run... :)
  21. I read that too. He lost some cred when describing how Travis copied Coldplay, when it's probably the other way around. It's just one writer among hundreds at the paper. Otherwise, it's usually a good read.
  22. With them performing in Japan on the 27th, I somehow doubt that they'd want to squeeze in a 2nd TO show between then and the 2nd.
