Live version is much better... the studio version doesn't have enough "oomph" to it and is kinda bland...

The Stone Roses - The Stone Roses Coldplay - A Rush Of Blood To The Head Oasis - Definitely Maybe Joy Division - Closer The Smiths - The Queen Is Dead- Ian Brown/Stone Roses
The Roses are definitely my favorite band of all-time... Coldplay's obviously my favorite active band.... Ian Brown's great.... his best days were with the Stone Roses back in the 80's, but he's still been able to carve a niche for himself today. Best Stones stuff: -I Wanna Be Adored -She Bangs The Drums -Made Of Stone -I Am The Resurrection -Fool's Gold -Love Spreads -Mersey Paradise -Begging You Best solo stuff: -Superstar -F.E.A.R. -The Gravy Train -Set My Baby Free It's hillarious, cuz his before the Roses made it big, Brown used to do a lot of speed... which meant all his songs were sung at a ridiculously fast tempo. Then he started doing dope and what not, and it helped him establish his signature singing style, not to mention slowing down his singing. Though he's done too much of it so that his voice is not as strong as it used to be in the past.- 1980's Bands
What no Stone Roses? Their debut was only one of the best records of the 1980's! Fool's Gold, I Am The Resurrection, I Wanna Be Adored, She Bangs The Drums... I don't believe that they had so many top notch songs on one album. Joy Division also kicked ass, and New Order continued its legacy but in a different direction. The Smiths were great indie rock pioneers... How Soon Is Now!!! The La's! Here She Goes is younger than I am, yet its one of those sing-along songs with a timeless feel to it... And of course there was U2 and REM at their creative heights...- The Smiths
The Smiths rock! Love their stuff, especially The Queen Is Dead album... I love Bigmouth Strike Again... :) Our psych prof this term was the biggest Moz fan. He'd come to class with off-the-wall Moz referrences and most people would have no clue who he was talking about. It was hillarious....- Interpol
How much do they sound like Joy Division, cuz everything I've heard about them always draws comparison between the two bands.... And I love Joy Division!- Radiohead
I wanted to get tix to that TO show at the Ampitheatre... i asked my sis to get them for me... but she went to Ticketmaster like 10 minutes after the sale began and the tix were all sold out in 15 mins. flat.....- Chris song ban
Green Eyes has always been at best, a passable listen for me. The only time it was actually a good listen was when the band performed it in Toronto in Sept. in an acoustic set and Chris sang a few verses after inhaling a helium balloon... - Your album collections
