Someone can correct me on the exact words that Chris said this evening, I'm sure, but he said something about how he knows it's not always easy being a fan of Coldplay but that he was very appreciative that we all came out to see him. I know that I am sometimes chastised by some of my friends for my fandom of Coldplay. It was nice (if not odd) that Chris mentioned it. I felt like he was really trying to personalize his interaction with the audience, which was really cool.

Yes, the orbs are very neat. However, they did have a tendency to obstruct the view from the upper level seats directly opposite of the stage. I think perhaps in a smaller venue they would be quite a sight...but in a larger venue or stadium, they can actually keep some people from enjoying the show.

The butterfly confetti was beautiful. It was especially cool when the seeming blacklights came from the stage and made them into gorgeous colors. :swoon

For a minute there I thought that Kanye West might have come out to do "Homecoming" with Chris. I seriously would have peed myself had that happened, though.
