It really sounds crazy. I totally didn't expect this song to go this far. When was the last time that a rock song topped the US chart? Maroon 5's Makes Me Wonder if it's counted as rock. This is really really incredibly amazing. A big congratulations to Coldplay!!! How will the album do? Will it sell more than 1m in the US as The Carter III did? Let's wait and see. No 2 is good enough in the US. Billboard chart is full of hip-hop songs. Good enough for a rock song to be this high~~

I think it's impossible. It's already very successful in the US. It has also sold lots of copies, I mean iTunes, in the UK and it's not allowed to chart because it comes when you pre-order the whole album. It won't chart well if it's made separately. So... I don't see it happening

Three years ago, I almost bought one CD every month. Three years ago, I did not download piracy at all. Three years ago, I hate the evil iPod. Three years ago, I bought X&Y on the release day. The staff hadn't made it on display yet so they got it for me from the storage room... Now, I almost stop buying any CD, download piracy everyday and and am using an iPod. But YES I am going to wait until the release day to get Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends!!

You can buy VLV without pre-ordering the whole album, btw. I don't understand why they made VH this lead single and didn't release it properly around the world. And, VLV is getting hotter, so PLZ shoot a video for it and release as a single!!!

I read from a Taiwan website (hope you guys know where it is on this planet) that there is an "imported deluxe version" and an "imported normal version" for the new album. That website is quite reliable as it has close connections to the record companies there. Did anyone hear about this too? Can someone comfim it? Yup yup. It used to be VLVODAAHF. Now I am convinced the album will be called VLV. But I don't know what DAAHF will be used for.

Maybe because Coldplay is a British band, UK release will come much earlier than the US release (unlike others, only one day difference)

Honestly speaking I am going to wait until the whole album to see how it is. I like some of the new songs like VLV but I don't like Violet Hill that much. But the lyrics are still as good as before. Hope I can see a great new album from Coldplay!
