I searched for "Coldplay 2011" in Google Images. Set size to Large. That search led me here and here.

    Hey, found these:
  6. I believe Megahit means they'll play the song once every hour for a whole week!
  7. My thoughts exactly! But, of course, I could be wrong. I just think it's rather strange that there's no "From the upcoming new studio album" or something like that.
  8. Both "Ritmo de la noche" and "Every Teardrop" sample Peter Allen's "I Go to Rio". Allen is officially credited on Coldplay.com and ETIAW's iTunes ID3 tags.
  9. That song samples Peter Allen's "I Go to Rio", as does "Every Teardrop". Allen is officially credited on Coldplay.com and in the iTunes file.
  10. Well, at least we know ETIAW won't have lyrics like "I got soul but I'm not a soldier";) I like "All These Things That I've Done", and those lyrics work, but, as Bill Bailey pointed out, they make about as much as "I got ham but I'm not a hamster.":P
  11. The video is pretty funny, yeah. And the Coldplay thing is just a joke, I guess. But just thought I'd let you guys know!:)
  12. Hey everyone! Check out the new Foo Fighters video, "Walk": http://walk.foofighters.com/ At the beginning, there's a Coldplay bumper sticker -- which, apparently, is as bad as stickers saying "Bieber is my copilot" or "Thank you President Bush"... Should we be offended?;)
  13. Sorry if this has already been posted: "Now, a friend of Radar from B105 in Brisbane, Ryan Tothill has had a listen to the the new single called 'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall' and has said: “The new Coldplay track is sensational, a good up-tempo song that has a ‘Viva La Vida’ / ‘Lovers In Japan’ sound to it. Starts off with a super long intro, and keeps on building throughout the song. Coldplay fans are going to love it" http://www.radarradio.com.au/on-air/reeganradar/blog/new-coldplay-song.aspx

  15. I do believe The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Don't Panic! 42!) contains an existential whale? Could have inspired the band:P
  16. Did Chris update a 2008 Timeline entry? Check out the Timeline, click on '2008'. The first entry that comes up is about the Mat Whitecross-directed "Lost+" video. It says ''Mat Whitecross + Coldplay go back to 1996 and we just made Christmas Lights together. - CM" I mean, that wasn't the case in 2008!;)
  17. Lovers in Japan could use a condom. Pencil.

I love Chris and Coldplay, but "I definitely believe in God. How can you look at anything and not be overwhelmed by the miraculousness of it?" is a pretty stupid statement. But hey, as long as the man keeps writing amazing music, I guess it's okay:P Also, don't forget about the "Cemeteries of London" lyrics: God is in the houses God is in my head And all the cemeteries of London I see God come in my garden But I don't know what he said For my heart it wasn't open. I'm not religious at all, but I like those lines -- they can be interpreted in different ways. Either way, I think, they talk about not having 'God' in your life, but it's kind of ambigious whether he (Chris) thinks that is good or bad. In the VIVA-era Rolling Stone interview, Chris also talks about [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5owXCZ0CDg]this scene from Woody Allen's Manhattan[/ame]. I'd like to think Chris believes in Woody Allen.:)
