  20. http://www.strictlyfx.com/coldplay.html Strictly FX started touring with Coldplay in April of 2008. It started in Europe, traveled over to the U.S. for a little bit and then went back to Europe. The show started out with a small confetti effect. As the tour went on, that effect got larger and larger until it has grown into what is possibly the largest confetti effect ever seen in a concert tour. There are 30 confetti machines used in each show pumping out pounds and pounds of confetti each second. There is also a "have to see it to believe it" confetti drop featuring UV confetti that glows in the dark. Also on the Coldplay tour are 4 10-watt full-color air-cooled laser systems. LD: Paul Normandale Operator: Mike Hartle Confetti Wrangler: Brook Blomquist
  21. December 19, 2008 - submitted by from Frederika and Nils, Germany Q. Where do the Coldplay Crew get all the butterfly-confetti from? Perhaps from a butterfly pooping pony out of Katy's world, like in the movie Horton Hears a Who? The Oracle replies: A company based in Illinois called Strictly FX who also provide the 30+ blowers that shower us with the butterflies during the show! It's the biggest confetti drop anywhere.
