  1. Mumford and sons aren't boring, they're just shit. :D
  2. Their first album was so good, but coexist was boring, this is an ok song. I like their sound if they write interesting songs, I guess they need to evolve a bit maybe louder guitars or any guitars.
  3. love it! can't wait for the new album, great band.
  4. i know that rolling stone has no pedigree anymore, but it did vote "Is This It" the number 2 album of the decade just passed behind kid A, so i think it would be wise to give it a listen - btw like the new album but they are never gonna top their first two.

  16. bump, yea a new band that actually uses loud guitars, Pythagorean Fearem is the best song on that album by far.
  17. I added a howler song, forgot that was this year; removed the Radiohead ones, which were #'s 1 and 3 for me. I think I prefer the vocals for the vaccines, the sound and clarity, is why I put them above howler.
  18. oh i forgot howler, they're pretty good. I prefer the vaccines an palma violets; anything that sounds somewhat like the strokes is a-ok for me.
  19. ^ (Noel G was last year); oh man, daily mail and staircase don't count, my list is dwindling.
  20. I am picky/stuck in the 90s but imo it wasn't a very good year at all, alot of hipster shit. lol

  22. Agreed. I was a big killers fan through the first two albums and some of sawdust, i could handle day and age a bit, this is pretty bad (minus a couple tunes). "I dont want your picture on my cell phone, i want you here with me." how could he write that lyric down and say oh that's good. I think there time has come and gone pretty much.

  24. Sometimes an f-bomb fits perfectly in a song, especially a rock song, see..the strokes - barely legal, nothing wrong with some profanity (Especially at a live show, even if it's the fray anyone who complains about the artists language onstage or whatever needs to grow up). Profanity can enhance anger or any emotion the artist is trying to display, as well as their display of passion at a particular gig. I'm not a huge rap fan, but the cursing doesn't de-value it...I also think I've stopped trying to define good music as well, I like rock type music, I'm picky, I don't understand how anyone could like country, beiber, or nickelback but obviously people do so good on them. No matter how bad I think some music is an artist will always get at least a small amount of respect from me if they write the lyrics and musics themselves, even if the result is something i would never listen too. Those that don't, I have no time to hear anything they have to say about their supposed "art".
  25. i only really use itunes library as a midway station but i have 2116 songs on my iphone
