  1. Does/is anyone going to have the audio of this concert? I'd absolutely love it seeing as it was my first Coldplay concert ever and I'd love to have something more than just my pictures to remember it by. Thanks!

Pittsburgh tonight was probably 95% full. The lawn was packed and virtually all the seats were taken. Thankfully the two seats infront of me where not claimed, allowing me to take some awesome pictures.
  3. Chris did make reference to Guy not feeling 100%. Chris sounded amazing, so maybe it was Guy who was sick. Anyway, tonight (or yesterday really) was my first Coldplay show and boy did it live up to expectations. I can't even describe it right now. Maybe later, after some sleep.
  4. It's LiveNation because Post-Gazette is run by LiveNation. Oh, and I'll be there. My friend and I got tickets towards the back but hey, it's was a reasonable deal seeing as each ticket came out to like 55 bucks and it will be the Coldplay concert either of us has gone to. Super excited!
  5. What's the difference between record of the year and song of the year?
  6. what do they mean on the second video by mention a video cover version?
  7. 42. it's just got me playing it over and over- i can't get enough of Jonny's solo.
  8. I'm surprised to see Viva out of no. 1 already but that's how it goes i suppose. as for Lost!, it's well deserved. i really like how it's got three parts to it and you get a typical coldplay melodic song in the beginning, then they show there newer roots with the guitar solos, and then mix the two to end the song. it's well composed.
  9. i agree. just don't have the concert in march when Ohio weather is about as predictable as celebrities ACTUALLY staying married. (except for Chris and Gwyneth of course)
  10. I was fearful this might occur, and unfortunately it did. Grr... I can't go to the Cleveland show in October because I'll be back in school by then and a Tuesday night show doesn't fit real well. This is soooooooooo lame.
  11. i'm angered over the fact that they changed the dates, especially since I was going to be at the Cleveland show on July 6th but it got moved. Now i've gotta figure out if I can even go because it changed to a Tuesday night in the middle of October when I've got a full day of classes the next day- plus it would be like a 2 and a half hour drive from school to Cleveland. I wish they would have changed the dates to just a bit later in summer, not freaking October. Grr...
  12. both are very good in their own right. However i see reasons as to why the acoustic wasn't included on the new album- it's not rocky enough. Lost! fits much better in the progression of the album while Lost? fits the Coldplay mold from previous albums. I think they released the acoustic separately to show people they still recognize their roots of melodic songs and such- mostly.
  13. DAAHF's reminds me some of Fix You. Starts out kinda slow, minimal use of interments like the piano and such. Then the guitars come in and everything starts banging and becomes very full and alive. Then once it hits the end it slows back down some, instruments drop out and such. Sorta a trend in many good Coldplay songs as well. Brilliant song also- like people have said before
  14. violet hill is currently 29 on the itunes 100 top songs chart.
  15. if i remember correctly from an article i read, the lyrics are not suppose to be decipherable.
