Hi there, I read a lot about Mew here and I'd like to, you know, "discover" their music. Crests told me to ask you all, what I should listen to first, so that's exactly what I'm doing now. :lol: Any recommendations? :)

It always feels a little weird hearing the X&Y version ... you feel like dancing and the music is so happy and suddenly Chris sings "you really broke my heart" ... okaaayy ... I think that's the reason why the band doesn't seem to like this song.

I think they should have recorded it as a piano ballad ... the X&Y version sounds way too happy for the lyrics. The LRLRL version is epic ...

I think we're going to hear Famous old painters eventually. The fact that it's been around before VLV, makes me hope. But I think most of those songs are only fragments right now that will or will not become full songs. Some might end up in other songs, who knows ...
