  1. I remember sitting at my computer at 7:15a.m. waiting for the link on Coldplay.com to go up, but the website was too busy, so i had to miss my bus! I eventually got to the website and i entered my e-mail address, but that didnt work! I tried this at least 6 or 7 times, convinced I didn't enter my e-mail address in correctly or something. So i eventually had to go to school, but on the car ride there, the D.J. on the radio station said, "Alright everybody, there's a new Coldplay song floating about and we have it right here for you on D.C. 101 and I freaked out! It was incredible.
  2. i think Chris Martin said the song was about the end of the world. im pretty sure at least
  3. Back when Rolling Stone reviewed Viva la Vida, they said that in the last section of DAAHF, there was flute. Where is it? P.S. I had to put this here instead of the DAAHF section because it probably wouldn't be viewed as much! Thanks!
  4. Don't you think it would be so cool if they made a tour DVD, but each song was from a different concert?! For example, Cemeteries of London would be in D.C., because it was halloween, they could have Glass of Water at Antwerp, Life in Technicolor ii at Birmingham, or Lost! at Chicago, etc!
  5. i just meant that they're probably still going to be making incredible music even after I'm done with high school
  6. I'm 16 years old, and Coldplay came out when I was around 8, but I first found out about them because Clocks was in the Peter Pan trailer. So I was hooked on them from that point on, which was probably age 11. Whenever I feel sad, and don't want to talk to anyone, their music gives me advice and do my parents job when I shut them out. Coldplay and their music has been with me since I was 11 years old and they will continue to stay with me until I am out of high school, so in a way, I feel like they raised me during my childhood and they also made me who I am. I just thought I'd share that :)

i was just listenen to this song last night and i was thinking the exact same thing! its called "Rainy Day" but its not really just about a rainy day. but i have no idea. i like your view though. maybe shes the rainy day, and she acts fake (the sky wore a veil of gold and grey), but when their alone, she acts like her real self (at night it was the light of the moon with me), but thats all i have
  8. Tryin hard to speak and fightin with my weak hand driven to distraction so part of the plan
  9. "I didn't wanna be the guy that made people laugh before they go off and bang. I wanted to be the guy that everyone banged!" hahahahaa Chris
  10. its okay :\ im just glad they didnt waste space on their next album with it
  11. no no no, i meant put it at the begininng of the same song
  12. another cool one would be putting the last 38 sec. of white shadows, just with chris singing, at the beginning and then after that have the intro come in!
  13. I learned the intro on piano! kind of.. Bb (B flat), Eb, G#, Eb, G, Eb, (Then go down an octave), G#, C, Eb, then I don't know lol. but its something!
  14. Shouldn't it be out in Japan or Australia already? Just like Prospekt's March?
  15. I completely agree. That always bothered me a bit, but I'm used to it now!
  16. I was listening to Violet Hill, and I just thought that it would be really cool if the song started off with the Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! instead of the atmospheric intro. So then I decided to make this thread :)
  17. ^ you killed it!
  18. The intro to this song is why it's may favorite! The piano, the hip-hop drum beat, it's just so different! I wonder what the hip-hop beat to Lost! sounded like
  19. same! but now its my favorite track!
