I still don't think it tops LP1. It doesn't have the apparent surprise factor that they had because of such an original sound. I think people are impressed with LP2 because they have been able to successfully maintain that originality whilst providing some evolution of their music and creativity. So in that sense, It deserves to get the same reviews as LP1 got, but I still don't think its better.

Bombs? Like Da Bomb? I assume that's good? I have no idea. But I used to hate Giving Up the gun and it has turned on me, I like it now

Yeah its a very strong single! Album came out in the UK today, it comes out here in oz in 2 weeks..grrr.... I have listened to it on myspace though, and I am impressed

Yeah, but I don't mind knowing what is going to be played... I mean, I will watch Channel V's live coverage of the sydney BDO on Sat 23rd just so I get a feel for what i am in for.. plus they may show the bands I am missing!

Another amazing talent from Manchester. God I love that place. Electronic/Rock sound you'll enjoy. Debut album comes out this month.. Meanwhile, lead single 'Doubt' is superb.

Well, the songs are pretty decent. It's a bit like the Temper Trap's album.. there's one amazing track (Community Service Announcement for Boulet) and glimpses of talent in others. I bought the cd, I will post a review soon.

BLUR. Gorillaz is too gimmiky and crosses too much into hip-hop for me to handle!

I was a fan of U2's album. To say it was overrated? No way... like Briggsy said, there was a 50% split - you loved or hated it. It got a few good reviews, but suffered commercially. To me, it was probably more underrated, not because it was a brilliant album, but because people just didn't understand why U2 shifted from mainstream pop. Looking forward to seeing these results!
