  1. Argh, I had something to say but I forgot! :bigcry: edit: WAIT I REMEMBER. What's that all about Lauren?
  2. Everything's Not Lost, I owe that song so much it's unbelievable! Hence my username ;) Also Amsterdam, The Scientist, Lovers in Japan, and Viva la Vida.
  3. Gah, Chris and Alex, your posts keep reminding me that I need to reply to your messages! And Marisa too! *runs off to do that* me, running off --> :escaping: edit: Haha Lauren, why'd you write that in all caps?
  4. hehehehehehehehehehehe  I like it when you post with your iPod, it does the funniest spellcheck stuff
  5. Whoa, how did you know that?! STALKER! :P Yeah, Gardasil, and I just saw a commercial for it on TV too :surprised: I turned to my mom and was like "hey look, I'm 'one less'!" This was the last one, though, thank god. I used to be terrified of shots, but I've watched so much House now that I've desensitized myself  Still can't have my blood drawn, though :wreck: Please do everyone a favor and "get this out" over PM or something, I don't need to hear it.
  6. Oh, I forgot to share that I got a shot this afternoon and now my arm hurts :disappointed: *stops sounding like a 5-year-old* :P But still, very exciting! :D
  7. Ah, Erick, I'm sorry- I didn't see your post up there! CONGRATS! :D
  8. Oh god, Emma, please just let it be. Neither of you are looking particularly great in this argument, and it's really getting on my nerves. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67J_66hdN-I]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67J_66hdN-I[/ame]
  9. Oooh, congrats on 1000 posts! Alex! You just made me remember that I never responded to your VM :uhoh:
  10. Sorry! My hatred of Radiohead is a long and complicated story :embarassed: And that manic smile you're wearing while trying to beat me with a hammer is slightly disconcerting :P
  11. No one should fight on the Coldplaying forums because it's annoying and pointless, and ultimately achieves nothing! -Christopher Anthony John Martin* *Okay, maybe he didn't say those exact words... :shifty:
  12. You read my mind, Chris! I don't want to start any bitch-fights, but I have to say... For someone who prides herself on managing to find and criticize every thread on a topic that she deems "not threadworthy", the fact that she created a whole thread in the Coldplay section just to share her stories is quite hypocritical indeed. :dozey: Anywayyyy, Marisa, how was your day? My field trip was quite uneventful and brief... EDIT: Oh, Emma, you're still here! *waves*

You could look at this thread for starters: http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=53884 A lot of people have some amazing stuff in their rooms! Alas, I only have parts of my room dedicated to them since most of it is already taken up with Beatles stuff- If you ever need to write a story about a Beatles-dedicated room, my room is the place to write about!
  14. Avoiding homework like the plague, so I'll do this instead! :D 1)AROBTTH Ahhh, just amazing, it has the perfect mix of everything that makes Coldplay, well, Coldplay- great melodies, emotion... I don't know, just everything! And I definitely agree that the first 5 tracks = best opening ever! Top 5: I can't pick just 5! The Scientist, Clocks, AROBTTH, Amsterdam, Warning Sign, IMP, Politik, GPASUYF... *can't stop* 2) VLVODAAHF I think this is the Coldplay album that I listen to start to finish the most without skipping anything (I need to skip A Whisper on AROBTTH ). It's so colorful and inspiring to listen to- when in doubt, I always play a VLV track on my iPod. Top 5: Strawberry Swing :wacky:, Viva la Vida, Lovers in Japan, Violet Hill, Life in Technicolor 3)Parachutes (actually ties with VLV for #2, but I wasn't sure if I was allowed to do that :P) This will sound weird, but... This album can be whatever you want it to be. It can be really uplifting, or really mellow and relaxing. I don't think there are any songs here that I dislike. And it contains my favorite Coldplay song :D Top 5: Everything's Not Lost , Yellow, Trouble, Shiver, We Never Change and/or Don't Panic 4) X&Y I don't hate X&Y at all, it was just process of elimination :laugh3: It just feels like more of a collection of tracks vs. an album to me. And all the synths + lyrics about space threw me off :uhoh: But when X&Y gets emotional, it's pretty damn good! Top 5: Swallowed in the Sea, Fix You, What If, Talk, Till Kingdom Come
  15. As long as you weren't looking for "If I Could Fly", you're welcome here! :P And just don't miss the presale Thursday, and you'll be fine :nice: Or if you miss it, make sure you're ready to buy as soon as they go on sale on Friday.
  16. Yeah, I love that shirt of Chris'... and I liked his hair :wacky: But he was really funny too, lots of good quotes in there :P
  17. Oooooooh, thanks Liz, that was great! I actually hadn't seen it :shame: I like in the beginning when they're discussing Chris' hair... from the way they were talking, it seems like that's a topic which they frequently discuss :P Best part, though, was how he said "Have you heard of Zeus? That's who we believe in."
  18. *looks at thread* The most recent Coldplay concert I went to, I went with my mom (not my choice, but she was the only one willing to pay for a floor seat with me! :P). Seriously, it doesn't matter who you go with, because if you love Coldplay enough, you'll be so absorbed in the music and performance that you'll forget you even came with anyone! ;) So a) you shouldn't be worried about that. b), I agree with the others who say that you can't judge their concerts by Youtube. There is so SO much that you're missing when you watch those videos, it's kind of ridiculous to even attempt to judge from them! You don't get the experience of being incredibly close to your favorite band while they play your favorite songs, how amazing it is to hear those songs live, mistakes and all, the confetti falling all around you while they play LIJ... just the whole experience. *happy sigh* :P So yeah, you should go. There's a reason why so many of us here go to Coldplay concert after Coldplay concert- just look at Angie! Also, try to get the best seats (for which you feel comfortable paying, at least). My first concert I had nosebleeds, and the next one I had floor seats- I can't even begin to describe what a difference it made!
  19. Yeah... :uhoh: I realized how stupid my question was as soon as I posted it, but I was too lazy to edit my post :P
