Hey Joey :) Latin isn't awful! It's my favorite, it's just a pain in the ass to memorize these figures of speech. They're all in English too, it's not just Latin. Chiasmus, for example, is inverted word order (so instead of ABAB, ABBA). They just all have crazy names and really specific definitions, so they're annoying. :mean:

Sorry, I'm back, I'm trying to do homework at the same time. I have to memorize 50 Latin figures of speech for a test tomorrow. It's impossible! Figures of speech are the hardest things to memorize... I mean, how am I supposed to remember what "paronomasia" looks like?!

I didn't say I wasn't sleeping til Sunday, I said I won't be on here again until Sunday night. I think someone else said they weren't sleeping...? :thinking: It's in Baltimore, and it's a UN simulation. It's not really "for" anything, it's just kinda the point of Model UN- go to these conferences. And there's nothing in life that I'm looking forward to less right now! Everyone else at school is celebrating the 3 day weekend, and I have NO weekend when I really need it :\

Okay! Basically, I've never painted in my life and I don't know the first thing about painting, but... I'm going to try painting VLVOD. Because I associate each song with a color in my head anyway, I'm going to make some sort of abstract representation of the album. :D It'll be fun to see what I come up with, and how different it is from everybody else's ideas of the songs!

Yeah, I do! :wacky: I went to go thank my teacher today for sending those emails about my work on Friday, but he wasn't in his office :angry: The only teacher I don't love this year is my math teacher, but this is the second year that I have him so at least he's easy to talk to :)

I can't imagine going to school with teachers like that. Some of my teachers are like my best friends! ..Uh, that sounded kinda pathetic. :P But it's more because a lot of the teachers at my school are straight out of college, and my school's philosophy is all about teacher-student relationships and stuff. It's pretty cool, actually!

Man, you guys have CREEPY teachers! None of my teachers are anything like that!

Haha it's fine, it's not new :P I was diagnosed a while ago. It's irritating because my mom thinks that a diagnosis = I should go on antidepressants, but I refuse because antidepressants freak me out :uhoh: So we get in a lot of fights :dozey: and yes, I saw it!! It was very enjoyable :sneaky:

That's where my insomnia comes from, it can be a symptom of depression ;)

Well yeah, I am... I don't have the purposeless feeling as much, but I suffer from depression, so I know the "low" feeling. 'Cause I feel low... ;)
