  1. Hmm, okay, here's what I think (for now). I like the beat and the tune, but personally, I really feel like there's too much Kylie, even if she sounds great. I love the parts when they sing together, and of course when Chris sings, so I wish there was more of that and less of just her. That's just my personal musical taste and personality though, in no way am I saying it's a bad song. I actually think it's really cool! It's growing on me, as long as I don't view it as a Coldplay song, per se. And it's realllly Pink Floyd, Chris' parts anyway! I was like :stunned: when he started singing...
  2. Wow... I just heard it... I'm not sure what to say! I think I have to listen a few more times before I decide anything. All I can say right now is that the beat is really interesting, and Chris was definitely right when he called it "sexy"! Can you imagine this on VLV or PM?! It would've been so weird...
  3. ^ Yup! According to Rolling Stone, the best part of Coldplay's new EP is the part that isn't Coldplay :P I was pretty baffled when I read it... Off topic- alyssa, AWESOME avatar! :nice:
  4. Oh it'd definitely raise more money on iTunes, doesn't everything? :P Oh well... We'll get it eventually.
  5. ... No comment :P
  6. I think Chris would be like this: :bigcry:  :curtain:
  7. :stunned: I think this thread might have just outdone itself... Of course, I don't have the time to look through 2385 pages. :P *imagines what would happen if a band member ever looked at this board*
  8. *tackles you* Don't jinx it! :wreck:
  9. For some reason, that made me laugh really hard... I think it was the image of a foot in charge of a non-profit organization... :laugh3: Ahem. Sorry. :freak: Anyway, I'm glad I get the first 2 issues free, since there's no way I can pay $5 a month for that, even if it's for a good cause! Product Red is just too expensive all round, I can't afford any of it...
  10. To be honest, I'm not sure how successful this will end up, which is a shame... Is it 5 dollars a month, or just 5 dollars total?
  11. EDIT: oops, I misread! You can't sign up anymore? That seems kinda weird, don't they want as many people as possible?
  12. :shocked2: coldplay.com mention!! This is getting too exciting!
  13. Well, wouldn't you be? :P Still, adorable pictures :nice:
  14. I vote we flood it with comments and 5 star reviews :P But seriously, it just shows that whatever Coldplay do, they can't please these guys. The old stuff is too soft, but Glass of Water is too "heavy-handed". First Chris' lyrics are too bland, now they're too "imagistic". *kicks wall*
  15. Sorry if this is old news! I didn't see it on the PM review thread or anything, so I thought I'd post... Anyway, weirdest review ever, I think. Lost+ is the only song worth downloading? What the hell? Coldplay Prospekt's March EP RS: 2.5 of 5 Stars Average User Rating: 4.5 of 5 Stars 2008 This EP collects recordings from the sessions for Viva la Vida, Coldplay's most sonically tricked-out record, but the new songs feel too conservative after Viva's world-music-laden sprawl. Though "Rainy Day" finds Chris Martin crooning brightly over strings and swelling electronics, the swooning "Glass of Water" feels heavy-handed, and the atmospheric "Prospekt's March/Poppyfields" suffers from imagistic lyrics about "people talking without speaking." Fans should download "Lost+" — featuring a great Jay-Z cameo — and skip the rest.
  16. I just have to stop by and say that I'm very proud of myself because I actually bought my postcards this afternoon :wacky: Goodbye, procrastination! Although I still haven't started my homework... :P Now I can start working on them, and if they're not too painfully awful, I'll post them here when I'm finished! PS- Everyone's postcards look amazing!
  17. "Welcome to PerezHilton.com - Hollywood's Most-Hated Web Site!" Well, at least he knows :P God, I hate this paparazzi celebrity-obsessing fad/culture... In other news, I just looked at his other Coldplay posts, and he had this Chris quote which I'd never seen before: :laugh3: Oh Chris... See, I guess if you don't know anything about him, it makes him sound stupid if you post it out of context on some blog.
  18. :uhoh: 48%-52% I just voted, very exciting! :D
  19. Well someone's a little grumpy! Maybe some Coldplay music would cheer him up... I'd suggest Help is Round the Corner, since he obviously needs some- his ears don't work properly! :laugh3:
  20. AWWWW! Sheesh, have you ever seen two kids that look more like their parents? It's amazing :stunned: And where are those zoo pics? I don't think I've seen them...
  21. Welcome! But FYI, it'd be a lot easier to find this stuff if you head over to Multimedia :nice:
  22. Holy shit! I log off for one afternoon and I miss this!! I'm so excited! Argh, don't bring up that possibility, even though it's probably true! And... Have they ever not been beserk? :stunned:
  23. LOL I love the way these things are written... "it was claimed today" "according to a US report"... And how they still plow on with the rumors even after including two quotes denying it. It's like they're saying, "look, the people we're talking about said themselves that we're wrong, but we still think we're right anyway!"
