Yeah, we were discussing whether or not Ian and Jen can bring the cards to the gigs, but we're not sure if they just have normal tickets, or if they're somehow in touch with management.

Well we could always drop off at the Bakery and alert someone on Coldplay staff that they're out there... I don't know. I just like the image of the boys digging through a massive box than a few trickling in every day... But we'll see what happens. Whatever we have to do to make this work!

Yeah, but again, the times will depend on whether they're going straight to the bakery or to someone else first. And I agree that we need to make it really clear that people shouldn't go send these postcards tomorrow or something. When Lore gets back we can ask her to make it super clear in the first post...

Maybe someone in London can go to a post office and ask about the usual time it takes for postcards to arrive from those places... Or everyone can just ask at their local post offices in their respective countries. I don't think finding that part out will be too hard.

Chelsea, have you worked on the ending to the letter yet? I think we had a few suggestions last night... (absolutely no pressure, just curious!)

Lore, I told you that you'd only leave for 5 minutes! As more people sign onto this, we need to make sure they understand to WAIT to send until we give the go-ahead.... I'm not too worried that people would send now, but as the thread gets longer, it might get a little unclear. :/

I think the timing will depend on how we're getting the postcards to the guys. If we end up sending them straight to the bakery, the timing will have to be more precise. If we send them to someone else to deliver, we just need to have a certain deadline, but people can send them early to be safe.

Hmm, I think the cover letter could be sent earlier than mid-November, just to give them a good heads-up....

Well the adverts at the top of this page have changed from "get free Coldplay tickets" to "print your own postcards" :P So Lore, I suggest just looking at those ads!

Offtopic, but... Regarding the PM EP release dates, I just have to ask: why does the US always get the albums LAST? Oh well, I'm sure it'll be on here the second it gets released on the 19th (most likely before that)... It's still annoying, though.

Wow, I've missed a lot. I think we should try using all of the contacts we have now (Debs, Pete?, EMI), and see what happens. If none of them can help, then we'll figure out another way. Don't forget that we're aiming for a early/mid- December date, and it's only the beginning of October. We have plenty of time to explore all of the avenues we have...
