  1. Worrywarts get things done! :D Okay, I definitely need to leave until I get my English essay done, or at least make some significant progress... :wreck:
  2. Well, those two posts are opposites! :P I definitely agree, Chelsea, I had the same worry. Maybe someone closer to London can agree to arrange a PO Box and drop them off at the Bakery instead? If you can't get there, we don't want to make you rearrange your life for this ;)
  3. Yes, I really think the mailslot idea has the fewest risks. I think we should aim for the day of the first O2 gig. That way they'll have a bit of a chance to get over there and discover them before they run off again :P
  4. I have faith, too! After analyzing and throwing out basically every possible scenario for 3 days and 52 pages, there's no way this won't work out. We have so many plans there aren't enough letters in the alphabet :P We've just got to get some emails out there, and then this thing will really get rolling! It's very exciting... Who knew it'd turn into this when Lore posted that little idea on the Prospekt's March EP thread?
  5. ^ I say we aim for when they're playing at O2 in London, I think they'll definitely stop into the Bakery at some point during that time... EDIT: I still think trying at a gig isn't a good idea, I know Chelsea thinks so too.
  6. ^^ Where would we deliver them if not to the Bakery? I'm not too crazy about the EMI idea, and we definitely can't drop them at a gig. That's just way too risky. God, has it only been three days?! I feel like I've been working on it for my entire life :stunned:
  7. All of this address speculation is making me lose my mind! :dizzy2:
  8. :laugh3: Don't tell them that, I bet they'd love to use that as an excuse
  9. Chelsea, if you've had these pictures for a while, why are you just discovering the number now? :P
  10. Well what are the chances that the garage door would be down/the mailslotwould be blocked when we delivered? If we timed it for when they're playing in London, then chances are the Bakery would be in use by somebody... I don't know, I could be completely wrong.
  11. I agree. I think we should stop obsessing over all the different delivery possibilities until the email is sent.... We've gotten as far as we can for the moment, I think. I'm really not crazy about sending them individually to the Bakery if we figure out the address. If Debs somehow gives it to us and they're expecting the letters, that's one thing. But otherwise, it'd be kind of crazy
  12. Yeah, I guess I should leave before this thread takes what's left of my sanity (if there's anything left anyway)... Good night! I'm positive we'll meet back here tomorrow :P
  13. The forum is obviously telling me to go to bed- it's misbehaving :veryangry2: I will ignore it :)
  14. Obviously the more we can do by ourselves, the better, but if they're willing to help us.... Again, we won't know until we ask :)
  15. Psshh, we're so awesome, and this project is so awesome, they won't be able to resist! ;) But seriously, I think we should just focus on getting the letters out to our contacts for now, and worry about the responses when we get them. If they can't help, we'll find a way. We've definitely discussed enough alternatives! And if they can help, that's great. But we won't know until we ask. :)
  16. I think realistically, we're going to need a little help to pull this off. It's better to ask for some help in order to insure this works, than to try completely on our own and risk messing it up. Better safe than sorry! :/
  17. Hmmm... I think maybe you could tell her that ideally, we'd love an address, but if that's impossible we've worked out a couple of alternatives. Although if there isn't a mailslot we're almost back to square one...
  18. Yeah, I just meant as a really last resort, if we hit a lot of road blocks... Hmmm... If telling them would help the project in any way (although I can't imagine how it would), she can tell them. Otherwise, let's leave it a surprise! :)
  19. Okay, well I also think that maybe we could suggest to Debs, if she doesn't want to give us the Bakery address and there's no mailbox, that we could coordinate opening a PO box with her (with no expense to them). Very far-flung and slightly crazy, but it could be a good plan D... or Z :P
  20. Lore, do YOU have any tips on how to meet the guys at SNL? Therehas to be a way! (PS- I'm already planning on wearing my VLV tour shirt- everyone in the audience got their tickets a while ago by lottery except for me, so I might be one of the only true Coldplay fanatics there...)
  21. So many logos! I think I'm just going to have to close my eyes and choose, they're all so great :P
  22. Yes, I know how PO boxes work. We have plenty of Coldplayers in London, I bet we can find one nice enough to help us out! If the project is big enough, perhaps someone on Coldplay staff would be willing to go to a post office a couple of Tube stops away to pick up (if it's truly impossible for a Coldplayer to drop off somewhere, be it a gig or the Bakery). And believe me, I know that's not an option, I've been here the whole time! :P I was just showing how many issues a PO box could potentially solve. EDIT: And by "coordinate a PO box in London", I meant create one working with Debs/someone else. It doesn't necessarily have to be a Coldplayer's address. That way Debs wouldn't need to give us the Bakery address, and we'd still have a place to send the postcards.
