  4. I would have believed him too if my teacher hadn't told me that he was joking... :uhoh: um... hero |ˈhi(ə)rō| noun ( pl. -roes) a person, typically a man, who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities : a war hero. • the chief male character in a book, play, or movie, who is typically identified with good qualities, and with whom the reader is expected to sympathize. • (in mythology and folklore) a person of superhuman qualities and often semidivine origin, in particular one of those whose exploits and dealings with the gods were the subject of ancient Greek myths and legends. :P oh man, I have so much to talk about, but I don't feel like typing out epically long posts!
  5. glad the forum was working so well last night :dozey: anyway.... so we had a guest in my Law class, and my teacher was using him in an example. my teacher said "let's say he has Tourettes", and the guy interrupted and said "actually, I do, I'm about to have an outburst right now!" I had NO IDEA if he was joking or not  I was so baffled, and finally my teacher saw and he mouthed to me "he's joking" :P ooooooh man... :laugh3:
  6. hahahahahahaha  edit: haha Marisa, I can't stop chuckling about this :laugh3:
  7. woohoo Crests! *high five* do you even know about Lucretius, Marisa? :P I should do homework... :uhoh:
  8. that took you all of like... 5 minutes to find me :P if you were Marisa I'd call you a stalker  sorry, I had to delete your HOUSEs from the quote :shame: but ahhhhhh I'm so excited! It just suddenly disappeared for like a month! um, I just changed my facebook status to "Zoe thinks Lucretius is a BAMF. no doubt about it." I don't think ANYONE finds me cool :wacky: and that's just how I like it! :P dunno  that's... interesting, Marisa :P *pats your head*

  10. yeah, now I'm all super self-conscious! :uhoh: I'll get over it in a few days though :D when I'm really upset and shake my hand my mom tells me to stop :uhoh: I just think it freaks her out to see me doing something so "classically autistic" :embarassed: man, now I've made her sound like she's not understanding/supportive :uhoh: she's been incredible with all of my stuff, I think she deserves a medal :P I just think when I do that it takes her aback  yeah the bracelets are a good thing for me to focus on when I get anxious, I'm glad I have them  yeah, I took a class in it a couple of years ago  I've forgotten a lot of it though, but not the alphabet. awww, I saturn you too! :D
  11. "music threads" as in just conversations about music? or like... obsessing over music, AS-wise? really? she has AS and you have PDD? that's really interesting
  12. um, well when I'm really nervous about something social I shake my right hand... I also compulsively count my MWLIB bracelets and spin them around my wrist, snap (or try to, I'm really bad at it), press the buttons on the side of my phone, hold the buttons of my mechanical pencil down to push the lead back in :P and a ton of others... apparently listening to one song over and over counts as a stim too :surprised: my weirdest one: when I'm creeping around my house at night I fingerspell (sign language) song lyrics :uhoh: I'm weird :shame: (and nope, I come the 28th)
  13. no, actually, my cousin's over and we were watching The Simpsons :nice: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stimming I never realized how many things I do are stims :stunned:
