I´ll probably be driving to the venue. I can recommend TripAdvisor for hotels and I use Momondo for ticket fares (or your preferred airline website if you collect air miles points I guess :)

Anchorman I think said the codes would be sent out only to the US subscribers, so maybe thats why you did not get it to your old email?

I don't know...personally I think they will come to Canada, but if I were you I´d buy the ticket for a US show you can attend, just in case. You can always resell it here :)

I like how New York is the first date, which fits with the last photo being the balloon landing there.... I don't know you guys, but I love this attention to little details in everything they do, even the photos they post! Its just all so well thought out. It really shows the care they put in all aspects. Kudos to the boys and the great Phil!

Not sure kids would fit with the theme of the song, after all its a love story. And drunk and high is drunk with life, high with love, it doesn't mean "lets shoot the video in a disco with people on drugs dancing and bottles of beer lying around *LOL* So yeah I agree the kids would look a bit weird, but generally the colours of the festival I think would fit well with the song. Then again I must admit Im not a big fan of a lot of Coldplay videos...the themes in the video seem to often stray quite a bit from the song

I feel the same about this :) But looking at this thread I almost had to reach for the popcorn again....no not again, Im getting fat of all the popcorn! LOL I simply adore AHFOD and the newer stuff, but I would not feel entitled to say to someone else that they ´re "missing out" if they don't like it. When people say that to me about anything.."oh you're missing out, you should broaden your horizons, you should like this, you should should..." I just get pissed off ! haha It implies that what I like is not good enough and what they like is better.... So I do get the good intention of people saying this, but imo it always comes out wrong. Oldplayers telling us the new stuff sucks and we must be deaf to like it or newplayers saying that people not liking AHFOD are boring, pathetic, or whatnot...I mean I know people don't use these words but its implied in all the subtle attempts to "turn" people around. I respect people saying what they wanna say, but I just think that going beyond sharing and trying to push people into anything or make people uncomfortable for liking something is only gonna lead to people getting upset.....and the rest reaching out for more popcorn *LOL*

I wish we knew in advance what kinds of tickets will be available, so we could already now see which seats/standing/packages we want to go after. I always find it annoying that they release it first when then event opens, so you frantically click and are not sure what to pick!

Though Id say in a stadium even VIP tickets the best seats are still far from the stage so our boys will look quite small hehe Im still debating whether getting really good seats or standing. If they offer Golden Circle (front stage standing) I think Im getting those

I only have one experience with VIP tickets and they were the best seats in the house...close to the stage, however even in the VIP section you can have seats which are higher up than others, but the section is very close to the stage.

I don't think you can know before it goes on sale , I cant find specific details , but Im 99% sure the most expensive tickets are the VIP packages. Now I only had the VIP package once, but it does usually include seats (very good seats!) and not standing, because in the price its also included food or snacks and whatnot.

What is also know as the Golden Circle. Im wondering this too...I hope they do and its not just general standing tickets. I used to arrive 10 hours before the gig, queue and run for front stage...but past 30 I just don't fancy all that anymore haha, so for me its either front stage area tickets or seats I guess.

Yes! And also another good tip is to make your account and enter your payment details and address and whatnot on Ticketmaster now so its all ready for tomorrow and the tickets are one click away :D
