Ah total awesomeness about etalk! I wanna go so bad... But I'm already taking the day off work for the sound check party before Wednesday's show... I really shouldn't miss anymore work, lol. :(

np! I think that's the section my friend and I sat in for the '06 show! The view was actually really good... Which surprised us! We were a little worried it wouldn't be...But ya, they were great seats! I'm pretty sure Coldplay won't hit the stage 'til atleast 9pm.

I believe it's Santogold (unfortunately).

An acoustic performance of Lost!? I think I almost prefer that. Wouldn't mind if they carried that through here. Admittedly, it's probably my least favorite song on the new album... It'd open up a spot on the main stage for something better (imo) Plus I actually prefer the lighter version of the song.

To anyone trying to sell tickets on here... It's probably the worst place to advertise as most people are big fans, and therefore have tickets already. Put 'em up on Craigslist for below face value or best offer and you'll get rid of them fairly quickly... You're taking a huge risk if you expect to sell them for more than they're worth though.

Hahah :) There are actually people trying to sell them on Craigslist & Ebay... Makes me so mad... But they're stupid because it's a guest list... So you can't actually sell them! Real fans are losing out because of those idiots. Ya, I've actually been leaving my camera at home for most concerts these days, and I rather enjoy it! But I can't be that close to Coldplay and NOT take pictures, lol. Omg so true :D... However, imagine how awesome the pictures could be WITH crazy zoom then! Ahh excited!

haha thanks! no... i expect you to be jealous LOL kidding, kidding! got the official email and itinerary this afternoon! cameras are allowed so i will most definitely will be posting pics! I've got some crazy 12x optical zoom on my little point and shoot camera so should be good! I studied photography for a couple years, and I'm a total photo-taking addict so I'll have to force myself to only take a couple shots per song though... So I still enjoy things... and maybe one video... Any requests? lol

Just curious what type of camera you were using/what was the zoom on it? I see from your siggy you were row eight, right? haha just trying to get an idea of what kind of pics I'm going to be able to get from my seat next week!

The first five rows are VIP... contest seating... and perhaps that random grabbing people from the upper levels and giving them better tickets thing they seem to be doing... The closest seats you could buy were 6th row.

I definitely saw people sitting behind the stage the last time I saw them at the ACC in '06... So, yes?

Have you ever seen a show from either section? 105 is waaaaay at the back... It's super far away and shoved in the corner... Those tickets always sell last because no one wants them. 309 is actually really close... I've sat in 310 before and you honestly don't feel like your in upper seating at all. Regardless, Coldplay has a way of making every seat feel like an amazing one!

It was on a first come first served basis... I think both my boyfriend and I each won a pair :)... Atleast I'm assuming... The message was rather vague: "Congratulations your request was a success. You will receive an email in two days with instruction on how to access the exclusive sound check party" So does that mean, yes? lol Anyone else get that same message? I'm seriously hoping it does.

You're definitely not allowed to bring a D-SLR to a concert as it is considered a professional camera because it has a detachable lens. Plus, why would you want to anyways? You'd be spending more time focusing on the camera instead of the concert. I'm an avid photographer, however even I left my camera at home for their last show, and I'm glad I did!

Take one of the section 309 tickets! You'll have a pretty great view with them... They're actually closer than you may think. Section 105 is way in the back corner... You don't want to sit there.

Oh my, I'm SO very excited to hear they played Green Eyes! Crossing my fingers they bring that song here to Toronto next week!

Wow as much as I love all of Coldplay's music, I must say this is definitely a much better setlist than the first two shows... I'm glad to hear they played the electric version of Yellow... I hope they carry that through here to the Toronto show! The set list change gives me hope that I may hear Don't Panic live again... and in my dreams... Everything's Not Lost or Amsterdam... I'm sure highly unlikely, but oh it would be great if it happened.

Toronto 2006 was the 22-23rd of March... I was there, and yes, it was THE best. Hopefully they release it on DVD as planned one day... I know it's all up on Youtube... But it's not the same!

Was there a B-Stage? If so, where abouts was it? If someone could PM me with a reply that would be awesome :)

You'd miss so much of the show if you were busy changing lenses all the time! Personally, I love photography. It's part of every aspect of my life - school, work, play. However, I always have this fear that I'll remember the best moments in my life as they looked through a camera... So recently, I've been making an attempt to leave my camera at home for things such as concerts, and if I do bring it I make sure I limit myself. To everyone suggesting this bra idea... There's no way that works for every girl... ie: me. LOL While on the topic of cameras, I'd like to take the opportunity to BEG everyone to start turning their flash off at concerts. It's incredibly useless. Your pictures will look a million times better without them. It always kills me, especially at large venues, when I see people using flash no matter how far away from the stage they are... Concert lighting is so pretty... Why ruin it?

Smart move... They never pat down the front... That would be, um, awkward... LOL

Honestly, it was a small free show... What did you people (who are mad/disappointed) expect? You should be thankful that you were lucky enough to go. It's just a warm-up to practice the new songs... The actual tour will OF COURSE be very, very different... Think of it as a "sneak preview"... Entire movies aren't given away during commercials are they? No. This is essentially the same kind of deal. Just my opinion of course...

Go for the row 25 floors. Coldplay drops a lot of pretty things ie: balls and butterflies... I know, personally I can't wait to be a part of that! You won't get that same experience in any other section... 25 rows really isn't that far back!

Hey everyone! Due to an error on Ticketmaster's part, which they refuse to correct, I have an extra ticket for the first Toronto show on July 30th, which I can't use, as I already have another. It's section 310, which I've sat in before, and absolutly loved. The view is great. I'm selling the ticket at face value, however I'm willing to negotiate for less. I just really want to see this ticket used by a fan, and not just thrown out. Message me if you're interested :)
