The definition of a "professional" camera is one that has a detachable lens... If your lens doesn't come off... Usually you're fine... However, I have been in concerts (not Coldplay) where I've actually gotten in trouble for taking pics with my cell phone...

I just stick the cam in the inside pocket of my purse... No one ever looks there because that's a woman's "special pocket", haha. I dunno what I'd do if I was a guy... Except bring a woman... Who has a purse... I have a fairly large camera... So I just bring a fairly large purse... I once was searched twice at one concert by two different guards... Needless to say I left with awesome photos. I don't think Coldplay usually has a camera restriction though... Though I plan on leaving my cam at home like I did the last time I saw them... Enjoyed the show more.

it's actually right beside the stage... you'll have a really good view... mostly depends what kind of set-up they have on stage though... a few parts may be blocked... no way of telling 'til you get there!

Woah I had no idea there were 46 rows! I thought there were only 40... It may be pretty far back but I'd take the floor seat... 122 is in the corner... It's generally one of the sections people stay away from... Just bring a pair of really high heels... and a really big book to stand on! lol

haha, I'm going alone too! 'tis okay, i'm sure they'll be plenty of us really happy losers there! My friend who I thought I'd be going with never got back to me before tickets went on sale... but honestly, it was rather nice not having to worry about finding two tickets together for a change! i never would have gotten a floor seat if i had to worry about that lol

With a little help from my amazing boyfriend I managed to snag a row 22 floor seat for the show on the 30th yesterday morning! SO excited!

Those aren't bad seats! There's no such thing as a bad seat at the ACC... Especially not for a Coldplay concert! The last time Coldplay was in TO I sat in the section across from there and the view was perfect :) My friend and I were SO worried before we went that the seats would be terrible (we bought them on Ebay the day before) however when we got there and saw the view we were quite releaved. Go! I promise you'll have an awesome time.

Clearly for whoevers sitting next to me... lol j\k

haha, nah, I figure... I stand at every concert (regardless if other people are- I'm just that cool LOL)... and I've spent many a night dancing atleast 7hrs straight (non-stop) in heels... This should be a piece of cake! Plus, I'm totally wearing flats to the show and throwing the heels on only for Coldplay, haha. As for the dress... Is that a bad idea, or something?

There's someone on Ebay selling two 5th row floor seats for the ACC show already... For $1000... 1) I haven't heard of any tickets THAT close to the stage being released yet. 2) It makes me sick.

My friend and i totally did the MTF thing too... Thanks, I don't feel quite as lame anymore! lol

It's only cool to wear a band t-shirt if it's from a previous concert... general rule: wearing a brand new concert tee that you bought minutes before the show is lame... Plus, yes, it will be HOT so a t-shirt might even be a bit much anyways, haha... I'm personally gonna go for a comfy, short, summery dress... Though I'm bringing heels because I'm short-ish, and as of now, on the floor... near the back, lol.

My friend actually got 2nd row for their show at the ACC in '06... Don't ask me how he managed that... He's a total idiot so I suppose anything is possible! lol I wish you the best of luck, kavehnight, especially since you're doing it for your girl! Maybe you should consider going to a cyber cafe and hording an entire row of comps to search, lol... While calling to order at the same time....

I bought a 30-something floor ticket, I clearly know this... and when Ticketmaster sent me my confirmation email it some how turned into a section 310 ticket... Which they refuse to refund... I don't understand how that happens! ... I managed to snag a row 26 centre floor ticket after that... So now I'm stuck with two single tickets, lol... Seriously hoping I can get rid of the 310 one, though it's a really decent seat.

I think you mean the GREAT ones advertised in the pre-sale email, hahah ...riiiiight

Wow, haha, maybe I should have thought about traveling to Montreal for the concert instead then! Guaranteed the Toronto show sells out in mere minutes, as always... I have a row 26 centre floor ticket... and I may just have to settle with that... I'll just have to bring a pair of heels for the main show and hope and pray I can see atleast something, lol!

Considering their shows sell out in minutes... I'd say any ticket is a good ticket... Let alone a floor ticket...

Reading your story gave me hope!... However, I just spoke to Ticketmaster and they won't refund it whatsoever. I'm so angry about this situation. Did your mom have to talk to someone higher up or something? The kid I dealt with was clearly reading off a script... And was no help at all :(... Anyways, glad to hear you were able to get a refund for your ticket :) I guess I cross my fingers with Ebay now...

OMG the same thing happened to me today! I know that I clearly bought a floor seat for the toronto show, and afterwards the confirmation told me that I bought a section 300 ticket! I don't understand how something like that possibly happens, but I'm quite angry about it. Now I have this extra ticket, and when I tried calling ticketmaster I was on hold for about 20mins and had to hang up because I didn't want to kill all my daytime cell mins... LAME. Let me know what kind of response you get from them, please.

As far as I recall... You cannot squeeze up to another row on the floor at the ACC... it is rows of chairs... And everyone keeps to the seat they purchased.

Ya, it kind of sucks, but I figure I can easily sell my 310 ticket before the concert... I'm only looking for face value... Looking on the bright side, which is that floor seat :) It seems as though thanks to the pre-sale a lot of us were left with single tickets... So I'm proposing that all of us single ticket holders get together before the show or something so we don't feel so lonely, lol! I would have loved to have gone with a friend, however perhaps this is a chance to make some new ones :)... Anyone else in Toronto interested?
