I have news for you!!! PRINCE WAS THE FIRST!!!!! During his 2004 Musicology Tour he gave away free copies of his Musicology CD to every concert-goer!! In fact a free CD was on every seat in every arena!!!! Then what about 2 years ago, when Prince struck up a deal with UKs Mail On Sunday Newspaper and gave away his new CD at the time, Planet Earth, with the paper??? Its a pity that not more bands like Prince and Coldplay dont do things like this for their fans!!! Maybe Coldplay should look into going independant, like Prince has over the past 13 years since he left Warner Brothers!! Prince claims that hes made more money since leaving WB than he ever did from sales and box office receipts of his mega pinnacle project, Purple Rain(particularly from his first 3 CD set as an independant, Emancipation), cos WB basically took the lions share of all the profits and sales and left him with nothing, which is why in the 90s, he changed his named to that symbol and was seen publicly with the word "Slave" written on his cheek, cos he "divorced" himself from the guy whose name was on the contract he signed with WB!!!!! But I remember reading something online that said that UK YT viewers were being forbidden to view YT videos, but I thought that only applied to copyrighted stuff, but it seems, it applies to EVERY video on there, at least, it seems to b the case with me!!!! I have even tried with an IP Shield which hides your location and you can browse behind a "ghost" US IP address, and even that hasnt worked!!!!:cry::cry::cry:

Well, everything worked fine untill recently!!!!

The weird thing is that i can play YouTube videos on this site, but if I go and try and play YT vids on Facebook, for example, it comes up that I have to download Flash and over the past week, I must have downloaded and even upgraded my Flash about a million times!!! And still nothing!!! I have even installed the new Internet Exporer 8 in a hope that it would solve the problem but it hasnt!!!!:cry::cry::cry:

By the way, Daily Motion videos and also You Tube videos on this site work just fine, but I cant view videos on You Tube!!!!!!

For some reason I cannot play videos on YouTube!! The whole screen just wont show up on any YT page I load up!!!! I have installed the latest JavaScript and the newest Adobe Flash Player and still the actual main video doesnt show up and even when I click the small thumbnail video stills the main video screen doesnt come up!!! It just doesnt show up on the page!!!! I am registered on that site and yet i cant even subscribe 2 any videos or channels!! Can someone help me please???? Thanks!!!!:D:D:D

Personally, I feel that Coldplay.com is a totally different official site compared to all other artist or bands official sites!!!!! Virtually with all other artists or bands official sites, you have to pay EXTORTIONATE amounts in membership fees!! For example, Prince has just started up a new official site, http://www.lotusflow3r.com and in order 2 view new and archived videos, and download new songs as well as obtain concert-related stuff you have to dish out $77 to join up!!!!!:o:o:o:o I cant beleive that he is doing this in the height of a huge worldwide recession and credit crunch!!!!!! Coldplay are fantastic to their fans!! Their official site is FREE because they realize that their fans are not multi-millionaires!!!!! A million kudos to Coldplay!!!!!

Today I was in WH Smiths and I just happened to glance at the financial magazine section and on the front cover of latest issue(4th - 10th April,2009) of The Economist Magazine theres the front cover artwork for Viva La Vida!!:D:D:D It just seemed weird to me, thats all!!!!!:shocked2::shocked2:

I know that this maybe the wrong forum, but I thought I would post this on the main forum. Tomorrow I am flying back to the USA(to Minneapolis to be exact cos my husband is in Minnesota). Anyway, I have checked all the new US dates and the nearest venue for us is the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa, which is about 135 - 150 miles away and I am seriously thinking of going, but the thing is we are on a fixed disability income, although i will be returning back with around a $1000 and the tickets go on sale on the 21st!! i think I can manage to obtain the tickets. The question is, can anyone tell me the price ranges of the tickets???? Are they generic for the tour or are they in accordance with each venue????? Thanks!!!!!:D:D:D:D

The thing is, marriage is fucking hard anyway nowadays, whether you are famous or not!!! For example, my marriage, cos I have disability to contend with right now, but when my husband was fit and well, I never went with him to work and I couldnt spend 24/7 with him at his workplace sitting beside him while he did welding!! His boss wouldnt go for that anyway!! And my husband couldnt go with me to my workplace cos my boss at the time wouldnt go for that and, anyway, in either case it was an insurance liability!!! And I am sure its the same with every other couple, famous or not, on this planet, unless both the husband and wife own, and work at, the same business together!!!! I challenge anyone to point out to me a PERFECT marriage that exists today where everything is totally 100% hunky dory!!!!:D:D:D

IF this is true, then they will be joining the elite ranks of such artists as Prince and others who now demand copyright ownership of all images!!!! Prince is a total asshole in regards to this!!! Over the past 12 years or so, Prince has sued various webmasters of fansites over this very matter of uploading and publishing unauthorized and rare pics of him!! He even attacks fans for taking cam shots of him in concerts then posting them online!!! The online Prince community live in constant fear of him and his so-called Net Police and he has even employed a team of Lawyers called the Web Sherrif to "police" all internet activity!! I just thought it was a bit of an anti-climax!! If MTV took the trouble to film the WHOLE concert, which obviously runs at around 2 hours +, then why, in Gods name, condense it down to just an hour programme?? Couldnt they afford to broadcast the whole concert or something?????? They cut out so many outstanding parts of the concert, including the acoustic set on Stage C!!!!! In fact, if you cut out the ad breaks, actually the whole programme was LESS THAN AN HOUR!!!!! DISGUSTING!!!!!!!:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

I am not sure if this has been mentioned or not but MTV Hits in the UK is showing Coldplay: MTV World Stage on the 27th at 11PM untill 12 midnight!! its a shame that its only an hour, cos if they are showing one of the Japan concerts, then usually their concerts are about 2 hours long, so why they are condensing it down to an hour is beyond me!!!!!:cry::cry::cry::o:o:o Typical MTV, particularly MTV in the UK!!!!!!:rolleyes::rolleyes:

IF this could b true, then I would tell the guys to pack up all their stuff and their families and everything else and move and settle over in the USA and tell the UK in no uncertain terms 2 FUCK OFF!!!!!!
