I don't think those idioms are as annoying as idioms in my language. They are always very long. An example: "Berakit-rakit ke hulu, berenang-renang ke tepian, bersakit-sakit dahulu, bersenang-senang kemudian." Which means that you have to work hard to be able to be successful. I'd rather just get to the point.

Based on my previous experiences, I'd say it's best to not get too attached to the roommates. I hate roommates dramas because no matter how bad it is, you're still stucked with that person in the same room. Boring/shy ones sound like a better option, as long as they're not too anal with anything.

Being old means that there are a lot of things that you won't be able to do anymore. And looking at things now there's a chance of me getting old alone and it's scary :( You don't have to get married if you don't want to, although I think you'll be just fine being someone's wife :P Urgh being a parent really is a scary thought. I can't imagine raising up a person and risking ruining that person's life.

lol Alexa, why are you scared of getting married? Being old is scary. Also, I'm scared that I'll some day be too complacent to do anything else in my life except work.

I've just started working a job that I was sure I want to do for at least the next thirty years for two months now, and all I can think about is looking for other options cause this job is slowly killing me (just heard Radiohead's No Surprises and it's making me more depressed). However, I'm tight up with a five years contract so I guess I'm gonna be stucked for a while in this situation. My point is, you can plan all you want but at the end of the day you'll never be sure that you'll be happy with what youve planned for until it happens.

I don't get until now why she dresses up and everything only to go partying under a tree.

In my country people always thought that I'm older than I really am until recently when I went to an 18+ concert and the management guy asked for my ID twice; once at the entrance and once more when I was already in the venue. He didn't ask others who are obviously much younger than me. A couple of people were even surprised after knowing my age cause they thought I've just started college or something. In Australia though, people have always thought I'm younger than my age. I love it :P
